Glamping Shepherds Hut - Stunning Views - 2 minutes to the Beach

Hunstanton Glamping with mYminiBreak | Dog‑Friendly Shepherds Huts | Romantic Coastal Glamping near Heacham & Hunstanton, Norfolk Coast

Tucked away on a former dairy farm on the West Norfolk coast, just moments from the Norfolk Coast Path and the wide sands of Heacham and Hunstanton, you’ll find Hunstanton Glamping with mYminiBreak – a peaceful, dog‑friendly glamping retreat where big skies, marsh views and crackling campfires set the scene for a truly relaxing Norfolk coast escape.

From the moment you turn off the road and drop gently down into our secluded site, life begins to slow. The breeze softens, the sounds of the sea drift in on the air, and the horizon opens out over the marshes and fields. Once a working dairy farm, our little corner of Norfolk has been transformed into a relaxed coastal holiday resort, while still keeping its rustic, country‑farm charm and laid‑back atmosphere.

This is glamping in Hunstanton with a story – where old farm buildings, open countryside and the North Norfolk coastline come together to create a cosy, romantic, dog‑friendly hideaway by the beach.

Coastal Glamping with a Country Farm Feel
Our Hunstanton glamping site has been carefully designed to feel natural, unhurried and connected to the landscape. We’ve kept the farmhouse character in the style and decoration, but added all the little comforts that turn a simple stay into a real Norfolk coast holiday.

Set dropped down from the road for extra privacy and shelter from the sea breeze
Open views over the marshes and big Norfolk skies
A relaxed, friendly atmosphere – perfect for unwinding, reading, walking and stargazing
Within easy reach of Hunstanton, Heacham Beach, the Norfolk Coast Path and nature reserves

You’re close to everything – the beach, the coast path, local pubs and walks – yet it feels like you’ve escaped to your own private corner of the Norfolk countryside.

Dog‑Friendly Glamping Shepherds Huts – Romantic & Cosy
Our Shepherds Huts are the heart of the Hunstanton glamping experience. Each hut offers a charming blend of rustic simplicity and comfort – ideal for couples, friends, or solo travellers looking for a romantic glamping break on the Norfolk coast.

Inside your Shepherd's Hut, you’ll find:
A solid, comfy bed with cosy bedding – perfect for lazy mornings and early nights
Bistro‑style table and chairs – ideal for breakfast, playing cards, or planning your day
Country‑style décor that reflects our farm heritage and coastal setting
A warm, snug space that feels like a tiny cottage on wheels

Step outside, and the story continues:
Each hut has its own outdoor seating area
Fire pit and BBQ provided – perfect for cooking outdoors and gathering under the stars
Views over the marshes and surrounding countryside, with big, open skies

It’s classic Norfolk glamping: back to nature, but with a rustic twist. You get all the joy of camping – fresh air, campfires, starlit nights – without giving up comfort.

And of course, our Shepherds Huts are dog‑friendly, so your four‑legged friend can join you on your Norfolk beach holiday.

Facilities – Simple, Practical & Eco‑Friendly

On‑site facilities include:

Toilets with wash basins and plug sockets
Unisex showers
A dedicated glamping kitchen, just for Glamping guests, with:

Kettle

Microwave
Oven

This simple but well‑equipped setup means you can enjoy proper hot showers, make breakfast and snacks, and still feel close to nature.

Our eco‑friendly approach to camping and glamping means you can enjoy your holiday knowing you’re helping to care for the local environment and wildlife.

Evenings Under Big Skies – Campfires, Stars & Wildlife

When the sun begins to sink over the West Norfolk coast, the site takes on a truly magical feel.

Light up your campfire or BBQ and watch the sky turn gold, pink and purple
Listen to the distant sounds of the sea and the soft rustle of the grasses
Spot bats and birds of prey gliding silently across the fading light

When darkness falls, our dark skies and minimal light pollution reveal a spectacular canopy of stars. On a clear night, you can see constellations you may never have noticed before – a rare treat, especially if you’re visiting from a town or city.

It’s the kind of evening that glamping is made for: warm socks, crackling fire, good company, and endless stars.

Dog‑Friendly Norfolk Coast – Walks, Beaches & Pubs
The Norfolk Coast is famously dog‑friendly, and our Hunstanton glamping location is ideal if you’re travelling with your dog.

Many local pubs, cafés and shops welcome dogs and provide water bowls
Miles of dog‑friendly walking routes straight from the site or just a short drive away
Easy access to the Norfolk Coast Path for longer hikes and coastal adventures

Perfect location

Cute little hut in the best location. Very peaceful. Great host. Only recommendation would be for the owners dog poop to be picked up (in their separate garden, but still visible & where the chickens walk about).

Disliked: Communication
enjoyed the inside of the hut. comfortable bed. good seating. good parking. however, loads of inconsistencies which meant poor overall experience. i emailed the owner on 12 Aug. No response. When speaking to them on 15 Aug, they said they received the email but did not respond because although my email checked out, there was no reservation number but they did not ask for it. it is advertised as "2 minutes from the beach" but does not say it's 2 minutes by car and about 5-10 minutes by foot, depending on mobility/fitness. breakfast options are inconsistent (we had cereal and no fruit or yoghurt on day 1; 2 pieces of fruit on day 2; 2 pieces of fruit and yoghurt on day 3 but only 3 slices of bread rather than 4 as in previous days). advert says "fresh bread" - it's just processed commercial bread. advert says "ecofriendly" and "eco minded" - everything is plastic, inside and outside, including most packaging for breakfast. the outside of the property looks unkept and is next to a huge depot that blocks both sunrise and sunset view. in addition, the place is next to what can only be described as a junk yard full of piled items in various stages of rust / disrepair. although it could be a quiet location, there are cars coming in and out, machines some sort of drilling) and the proximity with the fire pits makes it impossible to either dry clothes and towels used at the beach or keep windows open. entrance to property has steps, not clear. all in all, would not use again.

Snettisham, no restrictions. Hunstanton, summer restrictions - Old Hunstanton Beach no restrictions. Holme-next-the-sea, no restrictions. Thornham, no restrictions.
