Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Graeme and Loretta Allan
This is normally our family home, but we are making it available for guests while we are spending significant amounts of time away from home on business. But we also own the house next door, which is full time occupied by parents - and we are often living there also, especially at weekends, and we are very happy to be of assistance to guests at any time to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Why they chose this property
It;s location is unique with spectacular views, sunsets and sunrise , direct access to beautiful beaches and surrounded by the Ayrshire Coastal walkway to the rear and the national cycleway to the front of the property. Peaceful and tranquil.
What makes this property unique
It has a large secluded garden, ample outdoor furniture for relaxing and al-fresco dining including two terraces, a gazebo, outdoor fire, soft garden lighting and a BBQ area. We often sit outside, even in the coldest of weather, with the outside stove burning, and enjoying refreshments while we watch the kaleidoscope of colours reflecting off the sea and sky and the island of Arran as the sun goes does behind the island each night.
