John and his friends were excellent guests. We would have no hesitation in accepting them back again. Good communicator, a seasoned short-let renter in preference to Hotels, he left the house in excellent condition and showed respect for the house during his stay.
The house and location are spectacular! The owners were so welcoming and all the little touches around the house made us feel very special. We can’t thank them enough for such a great holiday. We will be back x

Moray and his family with mother-in-law, were such lovely people that it was a delight to host their stay in our villa. The ideal family grouping that we would sincerely recommend to any Host. They are great communicators, the kids were a delight to chat with and so polite and well behaved; it was great to see them enjoying themselves so much on the beach and in the garden. They treated our house with utmost respect and left it impeccably tidy, for which we are grateful. We look forward to their next visit should they decide to stay again.
Can’t go wrong with a house on a beach that overlooks the Isle of Arran. Graeme & Loretta were perfect hosts. They left us welcome gifts! Met us when we arrived& showed us how everything works.

Stephen, Gill and family were perfect guests and left the house in an impeccable condition. Good communicators but also self-reliant and no problem at all to have staying in our Villa over the Christmas period. They experienced atrocious weather for the majority of their stay but always had a smile and cheery disposition. We would welcome them back any time.
We had a good time after we had worked out heating and ovens! Could have done with more games or toys for children, and more info on the area . Nice area and lots of birds, and handy for coastal walk

Hi Margaret. Thank you for your feedback which is always appreciated. First time we have had other than a 5* review, so I will give you a full reply for the benefit of others. We live in the separate next-door property & make ourselves available to explain appliances and controls, leave our mobile numbers: there are User Manuals for everything in the Utility Room. You arrived early, so perhaps the heating had not fully kicked in and warmed up the house for your arrival. A Heating Engineer visited the house the previous day had left all heating on “timed”.
We were ourselves on holiday but my father-in-law popped his head in shortly after your arrival offering any help, and offered to get some shopping for you (he noticed you had arrived by taxi). Regarding Toys, there is a photo on VRBO showing a bookcase corner with more than 10 boxed games, to which we added (before your arrival) my grandchildren’s big plastic box with around £200 of Lego in it: chess and chequers box in the lounge - so we are confused by your comment. Leaflets: we used to supply, but the general view nowadays is that they are not eco-friendly & more often-than-not out-of-date. We decided that most people use the internet nowadays for local info. Thank you for your feedback and will review this decision.
The pictures do not do this villa justice. Very well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your get away. Graeme and Loretta are THE BEST hosts we've encountered and genuinely care about your comfort and happiness during your stay. Such wonderful hosts. Such wonderful memories made and such a wonderful villa. We'll be back!!!

Hi Michael and family. Loretta and I were talking last night about the enjoyment we get from letting the house out in terms of the interesting people we meet. You and your family were a delight. When Loretta walked towards me when she came out of the house after your visit, she muttered one word, "... immaculate...". Thank you sincerely for looking after our house so well and there will be nobody more happy than us if you decide to visit again.
Graeme & Loretta blessed us with the opportunity to enjoy their beautiful home. They received 5 stars for this simple reason….everything was perfect! Property description, prompt responses to questions, a beautiful/clean well appointed home and an absolutely gorgeous view!!
Future renters…..If this home fits your group, do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed.
Our only regret, the end of our stay and that we failed to share our thoughts and appreciation in the guestbook.
Thank you, Graeme & Loretta

Warren and his family were ideal guests: friendly, polite, interesting and, for us as their hosts in our property, they treated our house with utmost respect and left it in impeccable condition when they departed. They were a delight and we have no hesitation in recommending Warren and his family to any other properties they may care to visit. We would be delighted if they decide to return again at some future date.
About the host
Hosted by Graeme and Loretta Allan
This is normally our family home, but we are making it available for guests while we are spending significant amounts of time away from home on business. But we also own the house next door, which is full time occupied by parents - and we are often living there also, especially at weekends, and we are very happy to be of assistance to guests at any time to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Why they chose this property
It;s location is unique with spectacular views, sunsets and sunrise , direct access to beautiful beaches and surrounded by the Ayrshire Coastal walkway to the rear and the national cycleway to the front of the property. Peaceful and tranquil.
What makes this property unique
It has a large secluded garden, ample outdoor furniture for relaxing and al-fresco dining including two terraces, a gazebo, outdoor fire, soft garden lighting and a BBQ area. We often sit outside, even in the coldest of weather, with the outside stove burning, and enjoying refreshments while we watch the kaleidoscope of colours reflecting off the sea and sky and the island of Arran as the sun goes does behind the island each night.
