One of the most unique locations in the world.

Our stay was nothing short of incredible. Very comfortable with breathtaking views. The town is unbelievable as well with lots of shops and restaurants.

What an amazing place to stay! Atmosphere galore and accommodations were just perfect. We had some Challenges finding it but the property manager did a fabulous job meeting us and helping. Would Definitely highly recommend!

Wonderful unique place to stay

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this VRBO. The kitchen area was very nice and I learned how to make coffee with a moka coffee pot. I did yoga while gazing out the window at the surrounding badlands. Wonderful place!

Heaven on Earth! Civita di Bagnoregio is dreamy! Chiara was so gracious to meet us when we first arrived to orient us. She was kind, helpful and made certain we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Chiara also offered and tried to make reservations for us to have food upon arrival and the following day. We absolutely LOVED our cave room. The entire structure is impeccable built and maintained. So many beautiful details, the lighting, the furnishings and amazing wine cave cellar! The views of the surrounding valleys and mountains are breathtaking at every minute. The dying city is very much alive because kf ALL the people that work there to keep it thriving. WE LOVE CIVITA DI BAGNOREGIO! Thank you Chiara and Luigi for doing such wonderful work to have such a fantastic place to share with others!

Unbelievable stay!

When you book online, you never know if the pictures are an accurate representation of what you’re going to get when you show up. However, my wife and I were blown away when we walked into “The Cave”. Such an incredible view from both the bedroom and the living room into the surrounding gorge. Everything was clean and in perfect order. This is a place we would definitely recommend for anyone going to visit Civita di Bagnoregio. Such an incredible town and this room is in the perfect location. After walking, uphill, across the bridge and steps to get into town in the heat of June, it was such a blessing to realize our room was essentially the first building when you enter the town. Two thumbs up! Stay here!

Overlooking the Italian Countryside

This is the most amazing place to stay - right on the edge of the city with sweeping views of the valley below. You are in an ancient cave, updated with the latest conveniences, with expansive windows overlooking the valley. You have access to a nice balcony where you can enjoy your wine while taking in the view, but your living room and bedroom also provide the same amazing view! The Civita is charming. You can go from one end to the other in 5 minutes. But slow down and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and the charming pace of long ago. Be sure to visit "Pinocchio's home" for a peek into life centuries ago. And don't forget to save your leftovers to feed all the lovely kitties! This charming town is a must-do for those looking for something unique and off-the-beaten-path to do who have already done the basic Rome/Florence/Venice tours. Enjoy!
