The Bothy is laid out all on one level with full height ceiling and exposed beams.

You enter into the porch with its utility room housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC.

The large bedroom is furnished with a Super King bed which can also be made up as a twin with an en-suite shower room.

The lounge has an electric fire and flat screen TV. The gorgeous kitchen has everything you will need, with electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer with views stretching over the Northumbrian countryside. There is an enclosed garden with private patio, BBQ and seating area.

Fantastic Getaway

Beautiful property in a secluded setting but not too far a drive from Hexham and Corebridge. Great walks too nearby if you have dogs. Would definitely stay again.

This cottage is surrounded by farm fields. Great view and walking trails close by. We wished we would have spent more time here on our trip.

Beautiful place .Great for walking .The only thing is the car is full with bikes and a dog and when leaving the property you have to take the rubbish bag with you to drop it of at the bottom of the hill which for the price I have never done this before

They live on a stunning rural estate in Northumberland and are passionate about sharing this peaceful natural environment with likeminded people who love to explore, drinking in the clean fresh air and marvelling at the dark night skies.

Why they chose this property

The Bothy is a converted farm workers cottage, sitting high on a hill with stunning views down the valley towards the Northumberland National park and as far as the Pennines. Completely renovated in 2018, the Bothy is a large 1 bedroom cosy cottage with Superking (can be a twin) bedroom with ensuite shower room. A fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob and dining table for 4. The kitchen opens onto the living room which has comfy seating, a sofa bed, electric fire and smart TV. There is also a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. Open up the french doors and relax on the private patio taking the far reaching views and the peace.

What makes this property unique

The drive up to the property, you wonder where you are going, but on arrival you will be amazed by the views - it is certainly worth it...!
The Bothy is extremely spacious for a 1 bedroom cottage, there is a great feeling of space with the high vaulted ceilings and open beams.
You shouldn't want for anything during your stay, however if you do James and Emma are always contactable and are very happy to help.
