About this property

Northstar Village Studio

Our hotel-style room accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is conveniently located within the Village at Northstar (Timbercreek Lodge Building). Northstar-at-Tahoe is the most complete summer and winter destination resort located in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our rental includes parking permit, departure cleaning and access to the recreation center (including spa, tennis, swimming, gym, and game room).


WINTER activities at Northstar include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super Pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing parks, snowshoeing trails, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops, and licensed daycare. In the winter the recreation center offers the spa, Jacuzzi, game room, gym, lap pool, and library.

SUMMER activities include a champion 18 hole golf course and golf pro with shuttle bus available from Village, tennis day and night, tennis pro available for lessons, mountain bike trails including chair lift to take you to the top, equestrian center with great trails for horseback riding, and NEW Skating Rink. Lap pool and junior Olympic-size swimming pool, kids camp, play area gym, and game room all within the recreation center just a few steps away from the studio. Restaurants, deli, farmers market on weekends, and scheduled entertainment are all available in the village during the summer. You are only six miles from Lake Tahoe where you can find boating, jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, shopping, and sightseeing activities.

I had a wonderful experience. Kristi was so easy to work with, she was so pleasant and friendly.The view from the balcony was so pretty, i enjoyed my coffee and dinners out there.I did ride the gondola's and did some hiking when I got to the top.Also really enjoyed the pool.I would defiantly stay again.Thank you Kristi

Communication from the host was quick and smooth. We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything matches the description. Went to the hot tub, pool and restaurants on site. Everything was great. We also hiked Tahoe rim trail to picnic rock, this was beautiful in the summer. We went to kings beach and sand harbor beach (reservations recommended). The room was clean, I think a fan in the summer would be helpful to save having to use the cooler, but that is more of a personal preference for me.

Love the design of the room! Very cozy and convenient. Nice space, and great patio. It could use new beds (they were pretty old and not much spring left) and pillows (these were terrible). The AC unit gives off a strong moldy/musty smell which made it hard to use while in the room. Scented towels were nice but I have an allergy to scented laundry items, but maybe that’s a me problem. Overall nice place if you don’t need AC and don’t care about nice bedding.
