Why they chose this property
The property was originally purchased (2000) and renovated for John and his wife to retire to but with circumstances changing they decided to share it with guests as a holiday cottage . Opening the door in 2012 .
The cottage is in a perfect seaside village of tiny lanes and backstreets , with plenty of easy free on street parking a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the historic seaside village of Mumbles .
The village of Newton has two shops , a newsagent ( open from 7-7) a local butchers , a pub and garage , a church and Underhill Park , which joins the village of Newton to Mumbles giving very easy access into Mumbles (10 mins on foot) and its sea front walk ,coffee shops, restaurants of every kind , local pubs and brewery. The Pier with Big Wheel , Rowing and Sailing and the wide open expanse of Swansea Bay .
The Welsh Coastal Path leading to the Blue flag beaches of Langland, Rotherslade Limeslade Bay , Bracelet Bay and Caswell Bay in one direction is just 10 mins walk away and in the other direction , the gateway to Gower and the many wonderful beaches and woodlands that Gower has to share with you .
The cottage is in an enviable location , close to beaches and coast and with all the amenities Mumbles has to offer.
