This stay was perfect for a family of 4 to Positano. Walking the streets of Positano is a right of passage and this spot makes that no different. Stroll down to the beach or town for lunch and dinner and enjoy the views from this hill top apartment!

Nice place, Stairs a challenge
Excellent check-in support and services. Nice place except we found some ants inside and a lot of ants outside. View was great from the bedrooms but only ok from the rooftop.
Stairs not to be under-estimated. not too bad from the road to check-in but to go to town, it was a very difficult climb. Stairs are not something to do often. you cannot go back and forth to town easily at all.
No dryer, only washer.

Hi Elaine, thank you for your feedback! We are glad you had a good stay and hope you will return to Italy soon. Unfortunately sometimes ants can be quite prevalent in the area so we always advise all our guests to be careful and not leave any food or crumbs out, that might attract them inside. We cannot of course exterminate them outside. We agree about the stairs for the whole area, everyone should come prepared and with the mindset of a lot of walking and a lot of stairs. We believe the views, the sea, the towns and whole way of life there is worth experiencing!
This charming residence was perfect for us (my spouse and I, along with our son and daughter-in-law). We didn't know what to expect of Positano, and were glad that we weren't right down in the center of things. That meant lots of walking (and steps), but we were prepared for that and actually kind of enjoyed it. Despite being on the outskirts of town, and relatively high up, it was still a bit noisy at night, but that's a function of Positano NOT this location. The two things we'd suggest adding to the unit are (1) kitchen mitts for lifting hot dishes, and (2) a small rug or yoga mat. If we ever have the chance to return, we'd definitely try to get this unit again.

Hello, thank you for your kind review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and Positano!
The unit itself is lovely but keep in mind the stairs. Our main issue was the that downstairs HVAC was not working properly. Although management did respond, they were not able to fix it for 3 days which was the majority of our stay. It was extremally hot and we had purposely had booked a place with HVAC. The management did respond but it just took a lot longer to fix.
Comfortable and renovated space with good air conditioning, clean bathrooms, fresh linens etc. Good views from the balcony and roof top.
Not directly accessible by automobiles so pain to get to (like most places in Positano) - approx. 100 steps up from the street. The local contact was v helpful and kindly arranged a porter at $10 per bag
There’s no coffee, water or jug in the kitchen (tap water is warm). There’s a mini market about 5 mins away by foot - in the heat you’re completely drenched after the 10 min round trip. It’s closed on Sunday, however, when we arrived.
Best way to get to town/beach is to walk down (about 14 mins). Best way back is the bus (every 30mins and under $2). Taxis are all crooks - no meter, they just quote a price (anything from $30-$50 for a 5min ride). One of them thought I should give him 50 euros instead of the agreed 35 because he didn’t have change - can’t make it up. And they’ve successfully lobbied (it seems) to keep Uber away.
Finally, on our last night power went out at 2 or 3am. It was just our unit (others had lights on), nothing was tripped. I didn’t get a response from the local contact so assuming they shut it off somehow - maybe they meter out a certain amount per stay. Needless to say it was infuriating.
With a little better management and less stinginess this could be a great place but the owner knows it will still get rented in high season by people who book late (like we did)

Hi Atif, thank you for your review, we appreciate you taking the time in writing this. We are glad that you had a good holiday and stay in Positano. I would like to stress out that we most certainly do not meter or limit the amount of electricity. During your stay, there were a few days of very strong winds and storms, with the area experiencing intermittent blackouts. This is why some houses had electricity, some didn't for a brief period. Unfortunately it happened at 3 AM, as you said, and there was nothing we could do except wait for the power company to fix it. The girls came by in the morning and it was all back up and running by then. We hope that all in all, you had a great time!
Kind regards,

Very nice place. Margherita and the Property mgmt team were excellent in helping us to enjoy our stay.
2 issues:
1. We would have appreciated being offered a porter to help carry luggage to the unit. I unfortunately hurt my back. We used the porters on the way down.
2. Drainage in bathroom shower was a problem. They quickly made the situation better.
