Everyday is a gift!
I am a forty something female that has lived in the United Kingdom for the last 26 years, half of these in London, which I am absolutely in love with. Born and bread in Barcelona, I learnt to love my life in rural Sussex, previously in a fast pace Marketing environment, when I never used to see family I am super grateful for my journey, I feel incredibly fortunate to run my own practice as a Reiki Master. I am also a Facialist and a Holistic Therapist, all these I conduct in the Zen Inspired converted Barn in the farm, which also accommodates 2 guests. Cocoablaze is my baby, which I founded in 2008, after the birth of my second human baby. My passions stretch from perfecting breathing work & meditation to yoga and Ayurvedic cooking, healthy baking (if that exists..!) reading, watching documentaries, electronic music, stargazing, astrology, swimming, travelling, chatting to estrangers & meeting new people. I love hosting ! I live in the farm with my incredible husband Jonty who loves sea fishing on his boat ‘Hardy’ feeds the different fish species in the pond, previously Captain on a Private Yacht knows a thing or two about hosting & ensuring our guests leave with cherished memories. He now converts wood into amazing barns & cottages and manages & runs a property estate in Ticehurst. We live in the farmhouse along with two of our three children, Olivia & Alexander, 13 and 10. Our eldest, Chantal is at her last year of uni!

Why they chose this property
You can get away from it all and retreat in style on a privately owned sheep farm in the East Sussex High Weald AONB. Within walking distance of an award winning pub and the quaint village, the cottages are set by the vast pond, away from the Farm House and completely independent, with ample parking, the accommodation comprises of a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a large rectangular powerful shower, heated towel rack, an open plan modern kitchen and a dinning / living area with a sofa that converts into a small double bed that can accommodate an adult or two young children. If you need the sofa bed made, please let us know in advance. Our cottages suit couples and couples with a young baby/child (children) maximum occupancy is 4 providing the 2 guests staying in the sofa bed are little people. We don’t feel is suitable for 4 adults as the cottage is cosy (40m2). You are overlooking the water and the fields, there is a decking right outside the French doors, perfect for breakfast and drinks, also a small decking platform by the pond ideal for sunrise meditation or enjoying the sunset. By the little decking there is a ‘zip wire’ and also a couple of adult swings, which guests can enjoy with conscious care. Fishing for our guests is permitted, please enquire when booking so we can give you all the information about the species and what bait you need to use to catch. Expect to see plenty of wildlife and to hear the hooting of owls. The cottages (Marble & Rosehill) are right next to each other, so it makes the perfect retreat for families that wish to enjoy their own privacy after a long day all together, The Buddha Barn is situated directly to your left, it comprises of a room with a comfortable bed and ensuite, where a range of holistic treatments are on offer during your stay, we have fantastic local walks straight from the properties in an idyllic peaceful spot.
