The cottage is a delightful studio, consists of a bedroom with patio doors to the terrace; living and dining room, a kitchenette and a full bathroom.
It’s located in Eugaria, a small cobbled village with a mixture of old and restored houses.
Sintra historical centre is at 5km distance.
A train ride from Sintra to central Lisbon it’s about a 45minutes
Estoril and Cascais coast is at within easy reach and so is Guincho beach with its large dunes exposed to the wind and waves of the east coast. It is a major venue in both the European and the World Surfing and Windsurfing Championships.
There are many excellent fish and seafood restaurants nearby

Host met at the property upon arrival with a very warm welcome. Mafalda was very kind and she could be reached at any time for possible issues (there was none). Me and my partner loved our stay, it was everything you need to chill and relax after a day exploring, pool was lovely, garden was pretty and the loungers were spot on. Property was clean and simple, so very relaxing for us. Kitchen has all the essentials you need too, views were very lovely to wake up to

Wonderful stay near Colares

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, stunning garden and the most spectacular views from the bedroom and terrace, everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, walked into Colares most days and found the town very welcoming, walked to the convento de capuchos which was a serene and beautiful place, short drive to the beech and Sintra for sightseeing. Malfalda was amazing, what a lovely lady Thank you!

Great getaway

The house is located at the edge of a very small village and surrounded by greenery. The living space is roomy and clean, the kitchen small but well equipped.What sets the place apart is the outside space. You have several seating areas to choose from, all equally private, quiet and well appointed. The pool is a welcome refreshment at the end of a day exploring the surrounding country side. There is a lot to do just a short drive away (walking, beaches, palaces,...).It was a pure joy to stay here and I can only recommend it.

Tout était comme prévu ds le descriptif. Séjour trés agréable , si ce n est la proximité de chiens qui aboyent( spécialement certaines nuits)

Very cozy house in nature

The house was so cozy and perfectly equipped with everything you might need! The garden is big, we were able to enjoy the pool, make barbecues and a fire in the evening. Mafalda was a great host and is a very nice Person. The location was ideal, sintra and surrounding beaches were always reachable within less than 30 min. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some peace and quiet, a space to relax and enjoy nature!

Todo muy bien

El alojamiento es estupendo. La piscina está bien y muy limpia. Internet sin problemas. El entorno espectacular. La única "pega" es el lugar se parking que es un "poco escaso". Pero es recomendable el lugar. Gracias Mafalda!!!

Wonderful house in a beautiful location

Tolles Häuschen und super Lage!

Wir haben uns während unseres 2-wöchigen Urlaubs in Mafaldas Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch die Ruhe und die super Lage, haben wir genossen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in der Nähe, tolle Strände und man kann sehr schöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Mafalda war stets für uns da und hat uns gut beraten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Cottage zum Wohlfühlen

Das Cottage bietet an Ausstattung alles, was man braucht. Dazu kommt viel schön gestalter Platz draußen mit den 3 Terrassen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, man erreicht aber auch zu Fuß den Supermarkt und andere Einrichtungen in Colares sehr schnell. Ein guter Standort, um Sintra, Lissabon und die Strände am Atlantik zu erkunden. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt, was auch an dem freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Empfang durch Mafalda gelegen hat. Wir kommen gern wieder!
