Rustic Charm

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing week long stay at this charming renovated stone barn on a beautiful landscaped property. Close to the town of Caminha and it's shopping and excellent restaurants. The house was well equipped, everything on a high level. Marie Jose, the host, was charming and friendly and very attentive. we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Carol & James is a very kind couple. The house was kept as their own. A coffee apparatus that Carol said had been broken during their stay was substituted by a new and better one, on their expenses. I really appreciate.

Nice base for the seeing region

It is a nice big rustic studio space with everything you need in it. Beware if you are tall, some of the original beams are low. 😂 Lovely garden space to sit out in. Great spot both for the coast and seeing historic places inland. It’s a beautiful green part of Portugal. Our host was very helpful and we had a lovely stay.

We never got there. We had a problem the day of the check in reached out to owner asked if we could get a partial refund immediately said no. Next day we tried to get to the property it was hard to reach and I am Portuguese and used to small roads through the country. Reached out the lady answer the phone told us to go to a different address which we tried to get to but could not find. Then I called her three times in a row to see if we could get better directions and the phone was not available that’s the message we got. We had no choice but leave. So I truly feel we should at least get one night refund since we were there but could not get into the place. Please advise. Thank you very much.

Gostamos imenso da nossa estadia no alojamento. Tinha todas as comodidades que esperávamos, conforme descrito, num local bastante recatado e pacífico. No geral, conseguiu superar as nossas expectativas e esperamos regressar num futuro próximo.

Maravilhoso Sitio

A D. Mª José é muito simpática e dá umas dicas muito boas sobre a região. A casa (um antigo celeiro) é muito giro e confortável. O jardim à volta da casa é lindo. Em suma adorámos a nossa estadia, vamos voltar !!!!

Loft con encanto

El alojamiento tiene mucho encanto y está equipado con todas las comodidades. Por otro lado, al ser una construcción antigua con mucha madera, tiene los suelos irregulares y continuos pequeños ruidos y crujidos. Esta dentro de la finca de los dueños, rodeado por un jardín muy bonito. La zona está un poco alejada de un casco urbano y hay que coger cohe (10min) para ir a Carminha, el pueblo más cercano.
