Summary:
This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Glasgow. The property is perfectly positioned for enjoying the vibrant nightlife and the world-renowned shopping the city has to offer.

The Space:
Entering into a galleried hallway, the flat comprises a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, washing machine, electric oven & microwave, and a range of other kitchen appliances including a Nepresso coffee machine, as well as a dining table to seat 4.

The living room is very comfortable and comes with Plasma tv, DVD player, coffee table, cuddler style couch and traditional style couch with comfortable cushions to make your stay a relaxing one. Its a bright and spacious living room, with a stunning back drop of the sandstone church that is the central focal point of the square, a real sight to be seen.

Main master bedroom is very spacious with a very comfortable king size bed and dressing table, with built-in mirrored wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, and also has spacious built-in mirrored wardrobe.

The property is completed with a modern and bright shower room.

There are ample power points are located around the flat, as well as free wifi, and an allocated underground parking space.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the full apartment including appliances, plus the allocated underground parking space.

The main door accessed from the square is secure and accessed with key fob, as well as a buzzer system. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor, and can be reached by either stairs or an elevator.

The Neighborhood:
The city is known best for its thriving theatre and independent acoustic and electronic music scene, and has a bar scene to match any of Europe. The restaurants that are within a stones throw from the apartment are also some of the best Glasgow has to offer.

The apartment is very well furnished and is extremely comfortable with modern appliances. In a very central and easy location - the City Centre is just a few minutes walk away. Even the open deck bus tour of Glasgow actually stops dead pan in the middle of St Andrews Square where the flat is located. It is probably the best and only way to see the city, and will drop you right back off at home where you started.

The flat and location has to be seen to believed and truly appreciated. The square itself is very popular for weddings all year round so do not be surprised to see a beautiful bride and a limousine parked in the middle of the square every other Saturday, so the flat is ideally located for going here, either as a guest or Bride.

Glasgow green is also on the doorstep and hosts a number of popular and exciting events to enjoy throughout the year including things like cycling and rowing, pipe band championships, charity runs, and Oktoberfest. The Merchant city festival takes place in summer time from the end of July for 9 days and is really good entertainment for all the family too, and gigs like the BBC Proms, Gay Pride, Concerts like Coldplay and Paulo Nutini and The Stone Roses are enough good reasons to come to the dear green place they call Glasgow.

Also Celtic Park Stadium and the Emirates Velodrome are only £5 in a Black Cab away, so really everything you need is at your beckon call here. Quite simply.

Getting Around:
The city centre is a 5 minute walk away, and there is a taxi rank and bus stop one minute round the corner on London Road. There is also a train station on High Street approximately 8 minutes walk away.

Glasgow Central and Queen Street Station are also within easy walking distance. 15 mins actually!!!! The airport bus takes you directly to Glasgow airport from George Square too for £7.

If you are looking for some nearby good restaurants Qua Italian Restaurant is our favourite, others to note are: Café Gandolfi Fish, Guys Scottish Restaurant, The City Merchant, Koolba Authentic Indian's and North Indian Restaurant, The Dhabba.

If you like a wee tipple, there are a plethora of bars in Merchant city.
Bear in mind that you may run out of time due to there being so many to choose from.

All of this is literally on your doorstep and walkable. Please enjoy sensibly.

Beautifully situated flat
We enjoyed our stay in this flat. The location is excellent with easy access to the financial district and local restaurants. The view from the flat is lovely overlooking the square. The flat itself was quite basic with minimal kitchen dishes and appliances. We heated up a pre cooked dinner one evening and ate in. This worked well but cooking a meal may have been a challenge. Bed linens were good and beds on the softer side. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
