We enjoyed our stay

The Host tried very hard to communicate with us, but we definitely had a language barrier. We only speak English. We had a problem finding the unit, we didn’t see any numbers, but it is right next to the pool upstairs. The property is beautifully landscaped. The pool is great. The Security team patrols the property. The unit had plenty of space including a nice outside area overlooking the pool. Most of the ceiling fans worked and we didn’t use the air conditioning unit in the bedroom at all. The kitchen has a stove top and all of the basics utensils. Bring your own toilet paper, soap and dish soap. We walked to the beach which was very close. There were little markets to shop in and plenty of dining options in the area. We would stay again!

Problematic

Villa was largely as advertized - a bit tired, but for the price, fair, although the front door did not lock properly, which was clearly a problem. The owner was quick to share check-in instructions, but when he was notified that the AC was not working, he did not respond for two days until I let him know I was contacting Vrbo. He said he would call a technician, but never responded to follow-up questions about when the technician would arrive (he didn't). More concerning - he also did not answer Vrbo's repeated attempts to reach him. Heat was so unbearable I had to book a different villa for the last two nights. When I asked the owner to refund the last two nights, he refused, claiming I broke the AC and the door (as if that's something a guest can break). Warning Note about Vrbo - they take no responsibility for guaranteeing their listings.Their only answer to my issues was to attempt to contact the owner on my behalf, but ultimately they told me there was nothing they could/were willing to do, even though they clearly collect the payment on behalf of the owner. They suggested I take it up with my credit card company. No wonder their BBB rating is so bad.

Mi marido y yo nos alojamos en esta Villa durante dos semanas. Fue hermoso. El clima era hermoso todos los días y la gente era muy amable. No tuvimos que usar el aire acondicionado porque el viento soplaba todos los días. El apartamento es espacioso y privado. Claudio hizo un gran trabajo ayudándonos. Si eres de Estados Unidos te recomiendo usar la aplicación de traducción de Google para comunicarte con los nativos. Definitivamente volveremos el próximo año.

Le condo n'était pas propre même si la femme de ménage sortait. J'ai dû payer pour faire nettoyer.. murs sales et avec craque et peinture écaillée et terrible, 3" de poussière sur ventilateurs,clim. non fonctionelle.. Ai du faire remplacer moustiquaires, rideaux déchirés, demander grille-pain fonctionnel (micro-onde te grille-four non fonct. Emplacement magnifique mais pour le reste ne relouerai jamais de cette personne...

l'appartement est toujours propre, la moustiquaire a été immédiatement remplacée. les paroles du client sont très offensantes. la maison est toujours louée, toute l'année ----- l'appartamento è sempre pulito, la zanzariera è stata immediatamente sostituita. le parole del cliente sono molto offensive. la casa è affittata sempre, tutto l'anno
