At the heart of this property is the combined kitchen and living area. Offering you the chance to camp down and relax after a long day exploring the best of what Whitby has to offer.
LIVING AREA
You can recline yourself out on the two seater sofa and enjoy the wall-mounted flatscreen. There is also the addition of an armchair, well cushioned and with a coffee table for your additional comfort.
KITCHEN
The kitchen area is well equipped, sleek and modern. Dominated by the central island, it offers plenty of storage space for all the dinnerware, cutlery and crockery, as well as being equipped with two stools that could make it the ideal breakfast bar for your mornings. Additionally, the kitchen is also fitted with the essentials and a few extras for you: electric stove; kettle; microwave; dishwasher; oven; kettle; washing machine and coffee maker - all of these are free for you to use at your leisure throughout your stay.
DINING AREA
Finally, there is also a dining table with seating for two for you to make the most of enjoying your meals together.
BEDROOM
In the bedroom you will find a spacious double bed, armoured in luxurious cushions, and bedecked in soft, fine linens and bedware for the perfect night's sleep. You will also find a make-up table and mirror for your convenience, as well as a set of bedside tables and reading lamps, either side of the bed.
BATHROOM
Lastly we come to the bathroom, stylishly adorned with shining white tiles throughout, the great work of this room is the luxurious walk-in shower, with its plenty of room to stretch and manoeuvre in, as well as the added bonus of the rainfall shower head above, allowing you to add to you immersion in hot water. Also there is a WC and wash basin for your convenience.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

The Neighborhood:
The centre of Whitby and Whitby Harbour are just a few short steps away from Abbey Nook, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea.
The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area.
Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the apartment with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest, just a short drive away and they both have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore.
Getting Around:
Abbey Nook is just a short walk to the town centre, Whitby Harbour and the bus and train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
