Classic Log Home on 6.5 private, secluded acres. 20 minutes to Loon and Waterville Valley, close to Franconia Notch, 25 minutes to Squam Lake. Gorgeous mountain views, babbling brook, 5 minute walk to 30-foot waterfall. Also, it’s only a 5-minute walk to swimming pond and tennis court. The property borders the White Mountain National Forest. There are two large bedrooms plus a loft. Large country kitchen/living room. Farmer’s porch with hammock. Fireplace in Master Bedroom, wood stove in living room. Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump/ac system, with Toyotomi heater (similar to Monitor) as backup. Fully furnished with a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom (plus a full sized sleeper-sofa), queen-sized bed in the second bedroom, a double bed futon sofa in the loft plus a chaise lounger that converts to a twin sized bed. Two full bathrooms. Full heated basement. Seasonal rentals considered. Pets considered.

Another perfect weekend at David's cabin

Spent a weekend at David's cabin with my son, our 2 friends and dog. We lucked out with the weather and enjoyed some beautiful walks, relaxed in front of the fire and took in the incredible scenery and quiet of the valley. David was the perfect host as usual: cabin clean and well-stocked and communication clear and timely. Can't wait to come back:)

Rustic Mountain Getaway Done Right!

This property offers all of the rustic charm you'd expect in a log cabin, with the comforts of central air and multiple heating options. Situated on a private way just far enough off the beaten path to feel secluded but not so far as to feel isolated. The house is clean and comfortable with hints of nostalgia everywhere. The Trivial Pursuit, VHS, DVD and CD players instantly brought me back to my young adult and childhood years. I appreciated the fireplace, wood stove and multiple grilling options which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The impressive nearby waterfall and serene pond are just a short walk away and add to the overall allure of the property. There are plenty of restaurants, hiking trails, skiing and even golf within 10-30 mins drive away. We'll be visiting again for sure!

Relax and Recharge

A repeat visit for us … the cabin is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Dog-friendly. David is a wonderful host. Highly recommend. Looking ahead to plan another visit.

Hidden Gem in the mountains

Our fourth time here and it never disappoints. House continues to be in perfect shape and ideal location to get away from everything for a little while. Owner is super communicative so no worries of hassles. Thanks again!

Fantastic, gorgeous getaway

We loved staying here--strikingly gorgeous spot, the house is immaculate and has everything you need for a cozy stay, and it is an easy drive to skiing and hiking. I'm now considering how to come here in a different season, we liked it so much.
