Matthews Cottage Doonbeg is a short drive away from the pretty village of Doonbeg in County Clare. This coastal holiday cottage is ideal for a peaceful self-catering holiday on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. The beautiful blue flag beach at White Strand is 2.5km away, perfect for sea swimming or a leisurely stroll.
Doonbeg is a hidden gem, with an array of local attractions. Go dolphin-watching, golfing, bird watching or angling in the sea and local rivers. The world-famous Trump International Doonbeg Links course is also a treat for golfing enthusiasts. Enjoy a peaceful walk along Doonbeg river or breath taking views of the Wild Atlantic Ocean from the local Baltard Cliffs.

Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The rate for electricity at this property is €10 per day all year around and the oil is meter read and based on consumption. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
