Florence Honeymoon

This was a great find only a few minutes walk away from the Ponte Vecchio. Very clean and much more spacious than expected! Angela and her assistant were amazing and easy to get in touch with for any questions or local travel advice. We enjoyed our stay at the property as our last stop in Europe before heading home.

A Mini Palace!

When you think of an amazing trip to Florence, there's at least some part of you that imagines that you'll stay in some historical building, with beautiful furniture and painted walls. Check in process was flawless. This building does not have a lift pack light. The apartment was just lovely. The view out the windows superb. Please be advised if you are traveling from the US. It is not standard in Italy to be provided with wash cloths for bathing. Please bring your own. This apartment was absolutely fantastic. If I am ever in the city again I will definitely seek this apartment out.

Pitti Palace Romance

Angela was so kind and answered all my questions and she even made some dinner reservations for us. The Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Weā€™ve been to Florence many times, so this trip was for more local adventures, and to look outside tge city center for a possible place to move from the US. My only suggestion ,for this apartment, is to get better linens, pilllows, blankets for the bed and better towels. All of the above were scratchy and cheap feeling the pillows were completely flat and mushy. Both shower handles kept coming off, even after several guests prior to us had already mentioned this problem. Even with those few problem items, we enjoyed our stay.

Che Bella! This property was the highlight of our recent trip to Italy. We stayed here in late April for four nights. It is beautifully restored with Florentine-styled paintings on the ceiling, a beautiful bedroom with tall ceilings, and two newly refinished bathrooms. After visiting the Uffizzi, we realized how authentic the restoration is. Furniture is lovely and the bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep in. It is spacious, clean, and perfectly located across from the Pitti Palace. We were able to walk everywhere and finding our way back home was easy. Angela was a great host, easy to communicate with, and left us some great suggestions for meals and coffee. We would return here in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

A lovely apartment in a great location

This is a beautiful old apartment directly opposite the Pitti Palace - great for people watching! Just a few steps from some fabulous restaurants and wine bars. It is very comfortable both bed and lounge, and very spacious. The kitchen is fitted out nicely, more than adequate for self catering. There are 3 flights of stairs to take. There was an extra check in charge as our flight didnā€™t arrive until after 7pm, so Viviana checked us in. But that went smoothly and both Viviana and Angela were helpful throughout our stay. The outside space is an internal balcony, we assume overlooking an internal courtyard, with very old opaque windows which we were asked not to touch as they were old and delicate. So there isnā€™t any proper outside space. However we didnā€™t mind as the rest of the property more than made up for this. We did have one issue - a previous guest had somehow managed to pull the door off one of the bathrooms which couldnā€™t be fixed until the day before our return. Fortunately itā€™s a 2 bathroom apartment, although the second bathroom opens to the lounge / dining area, and has temperamental plumbing so not ideal! Overall we had a lovely stay and had there not been the bathroom issues it wouldā€™ve been perfect.

Charming restored 14th century former palazzo apartment

Helpful landlady was very responsive to our needs and requests. Fantastic ambiance. Bountiful HVAC kept things cool inside despite the summer heatwave. Comfortable bed - modern appliances. Would have appreciated English TV. Had a fantastic stay.
