Parrog House is situated at the mouth of the Nevern Estuary as it flows into Newport Bay. A perfect setting for those glorious summer holidays where the days melt into evenings, sandy toes and salty hair and the best nights sleep you’ve had in ages.

Parrog itself is renowned for it’s beautiful sunsets, easy living and is within minutes of the main streets of Newport which boast a host of delicious restaurants, cafes and pubs. The farmers market on Monday mornings is definitely one to look out for too, Pembrokeshire has a wealth of brilliant makers and producers.

Parrog is gorgeously equipped with everything you might need. On the ground floor you have a beautiful light open plan dining area and living room with french doors onto the patio and garden. A beautiful well equipped kitchen, utility room, cloak room & an Aga for drying those towels after a long day at the beach.

Upstairs sleeps 8 people in four double bedrooms with ensuite. The top floor is reserved for the youngest members of the family sleeping four children in bunk beds, with an indoor swing, books, games, TV and squashy sofa’s it’s a rainy day paradise.


Layout

Ground floor comprises of an open plan living room & dining room with french doors out to the garden. The kitchen, utility room & downstairs WC are just tucked off from the dining area.

The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms with one ensuite and a family bathroom.

The second floor comprises of two double bedrooms with ensuite

The third floor comprises of one large open plan play room for children complete with sofas, games, books, an indoor swing and four bunk beds.

Exterior

A former sea Captains House, Parrog House has an impressive exterior. Situated right on the banks of the estuary, it's a short 2 minute walk to the beach. To the back of the house there is a large patio area perfect for BBQ's and al fresco dining, plus a generous lawn area perfect for the children to play.

Newport, Pembrokeshire, is a charming coastal town set between the sea and the Preseli Hills, offering one of the most picturesque locations in West Wales. Overlooking the beautiful Newport Bay and the Nevern Estuary, it’s an ideal destination for visitors looking to enjoy a mix of beach, countryside, and small-town charm.

The town is well known for Newport Sands (Traeth Mawr), a large, family-friendly beach perfect for swimming, surfing, and relaxing walks. The nearby Parrog area offers a more peaceful setting, great for crabbing, kayaking, and enjoying views of the estuary. To reach SA42 0RW (Newport, Pembrokeshire), follow these directions from the main routes into West Wales:

From the M4, leave at Junction 49 (Pont Abraham) and take the A48 towards Carmarthen. Continue onto the A40 west, then join the A487 north towards Cardigan. Follow the A487 along the coast until you reach Newport (Pembs).

If travelling from North Wales, take the A487 south through Aberystwyth and Cardigan, then continue on to Newport. From the south (Fishguard area), take the A487 north for around 7 miles into Newport.
Once in Newport, turn right for Parrog. The property is on the left before the car park at the bottom of that road.
