Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Highchair.. Front garden with patio, sitting-out area and courtyard (shared with other properties on-site). No smoking. Please note: There are 12 steps in the front garden and an unfenced stream in the grounds.. Tucked away in the beautiful village of Corris, Glanyant Cottage is a great holiday home for those hoping to explore the Welsh hills. Glanyant Cottage is an attractive quaint cottage showcasing lovely original features, this idyllic cottage has been lovingly restored and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It is well suited for one or two couples, or a family of four.
Upper Corris is located on the A487 just north of Corris. Corris is a former slate village with a quaint, unconventional beauty set within the Dyfi Forest. Boasting a surprisingly rich vein of local attractions, including the Centre for Alternative Technology, King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Lost Legends of the Stone Circle and Corris Craft Centre, along with the narrow-gauge Corris Railway and Museum. Underground tours with Corris Mine Explorers, thrilling mountain biking in the forest, excellent fishing at Llyn Myngul, and challenging walking on Cader Idris there’s so much on offer.
The ground floor areas, comprise of a cosy living area with large wood burner and fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with all the modern appliances for your stay and overlooking the lovely stream. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double room and the second featuring two single beds. Next door is the main bathroom with shower. Outside the property is an enclosed community garden which is shared by the other cottages. Guests can enjoy a patio area with outdoor furniture, a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Your furry friends are welcome at Glanyant Cottage and there’s plenty of walks and exploring to do around the area for them. A beautiful rural location, perfect for an all-year round break at Glanyant Cottage. Beach 14 miles.
