Bring your fishing rods for excitement on the banks of the Chattahoochee River! Chattahoochee Shoals boasts over 220 feet of riverfront. In this newly renovated home, guests will enjoy two floors of indoor and outdoor living space, with spectacular river views throughout. Open any door at Chattahoochee Shoals to enjoy the relaxing sound of the Chattahoochee River rushing over the plentiful rocks and boulders. Bring your kayak or just sit by the water and let the day flow by. Enjoy the large deck overlooking the river while grilling on the gas barbecue, head to the lower deck for a relaxing soak in the hot tub, or continue down the new stairs to the outdoor firepit. Don't forget Fido or Fifi! Chattahoochee Shoals is pet-friendly.

The main level has an open floor plan (new flooring), with new cozy furniture and a smart TV. There is a subscription to YouTube TV so you have access to live local news, sports, movies, and your favorite tv shows. Dine at the round table or the bench table in the kitchen, while enjoying all the light that shines from the walls of windows. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a king-size bed. The adjacent bath featuring a shower/tub combination.

The kitchen has new granite countertops, full-size stainless steel appliances, and brand-new cabinets and backsplash tiles. The cabinets are filled with all the dishes, pots, pans and utensils you will need to cook up a fantastic meal at home, or at your new home-away-from-home! The coffee maker is both a standard drip with a 12-cup carafe and a one-cup Keurig. Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.

Upstairs, the oversized loft has two queen beds, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Downstairs is the large entertainment room with a large screen Smart TV, also connected to YouTube TV. The hot tub is located just out the sliding glass doors. The new furniture in this room is a futon sofa and lounger. Room for 3 more guests! The downstairs bathroom has also been remodeled with a brand-new walk-in shower.

Guests frequently return to this jewel to enjoy the river and the ever-changing year-round views. Now it's time to revisit to see all the renovations and upgrades to a family favorite!

The road going to this cabin is gravel and dirt. The long steep private drive is paved and has a one-way sign for easier access and direction. We recommend an AWD or 4X4 during winter months.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Chattahoochee Shoals is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: Dirt and gravel road up to the property. The driveway is paved, steep and has a one-way sign. 4WD or AWD Highly Recommended.

PERFECT place to stay! Our family of 4 had so much fun. The cabin was great! Spacious, clean, quiet. We never saw another person. There is a cabin next door, but no renters at the time. The cabin has everything you need. Cell service is low, but the cabin has wifi. Smart TV’s were great for the kids. Hot tub was amazing! (The breaker to turn on is behind the red fencing) The river was so much fun! The river was very low, so all the shoals were exposed and we spent most days just walking up and down the river and exploring. We even hired a photographer for a family photoshoot on the river. The walk down to the river is a little steep, but pretty easy. The driveway as stated in some other reviews is a little difficult. Half is gravel, the other half closest to the cabin is concrete. The drive up the driveway when you hit the gravel is challenging in 2WD. Luckily, we rented a suv that has 4WD which made it easier. Would reccomend the owner have it graded more often. The dips in the gravel from people’s tires is what makes it difficult. Cabin is close enough to town, but far enough away. We would come back again and again.

Great stay on the River

The space felt smaller than the pictures but the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a holiday stay. The gravel driveway took skills and a high clearance car to manage. Everything was clean and location on the river was very relaxing

Great location/view

The house/cabin was comfortable and the view in the back is just wonderful. Our only issue was that we found out late the hot tub wasn’t full and did not get to use it all weekend. However property manager did respond and gave a small refund.

Memorable get-a-way

I wanted to get away and hide in nature and this home fit the bill perfectly! The sound of the river was so calming and the hot tub made it better. I watched the kids hopping along the rocks while enjoying my coffee. Gorgeous views!! The house also had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving feast. The only thing that stressed me out was that driveway. My car barely made it up the hill and sustained some damage. I would return but with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Highly recommend.

It was nice to be able to bring the dogs and they enjoyed being in the gated porch with us. Driveway was a little scary and steep, but that's common in these areas and knew about it ahead of time.

Relaxing River House

Upon check in we had a few issues to discuss with the management company. After speaking with them, all was explained and went well. The location is nice and private, but close enough to ride into Helen each day. The kids enjoyed the river and we were just happy to unplug for a few days.
