Enclosed rear garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture (shared with owner). Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . Step through the inviting red front door into this beautiful cottage and be greeted with a lovely, homely feel for your break away from it all. The cottage has been lovingly renovated and restored in 2022 by the owners who live next door. Set off the main street in Naphill in The Chilterns, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage sits on Naphill Common where you are surrounded by woodland leading to Bradenham Woods, part of the National Trust. There is an abundance of beautiful walks, bridleways and cycling routes from the doorstep, with an area beside the cottage for you to leave mucky boots and wellies and a store to leave your bikes, this property is perfect for guests who love the outdoors. You can spend your morning in the sunshine at the front of the property watching the many walkers, horse riders and wildlife that pass Forge Cottage, whilst catch the evening sun in the courtyard garden enjoying a glass of wine whilst chatting about your day’s adventures. The cosy living room boasts a warming wood burner whilst the open plan kitchen/dining room provides a space to cook and socialise with your family and friends.
There is plenty of local countryside to explore within easy reach as sits locally to Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire county borders, there is so much to discover. You are also close to the historic Ridgeway Trail and slightly further to the start of the ancient X Way at Ivinghoe Beacon. There are many stately homes and National Trust properties in the area, including Chequers, the prime minister’s country estate, Great Missenden with its curving high street of half-timbered houses and Georgian shops, and the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. Marlow, Henley and Windsor provide attractive access for riverside walks along the Thames Path, and also have a wealth of restaurants, boutiques and cafés. Other notable places of interest include Hughenden Manor, Hell Fire Caves, Swan Theatre and Bletchley Park. For those wanting a day out in the capital using the high-speed link from High Wycombe train station, visitors can arrive at London Marylebone in under 30 minutes. Additionally, the underground station at Amersham is only a short distance away.

Tolle Lage!
Sehr schön eingerichtetes Cottage in traumhafter Waldrandlage. Spaziergänge und Wanderungen sind direkt vor Ort möglich, aber auch zahlreiche englische Herrenhäuser und Parklandschaften laden in unmittelbarer Umgebung zu Besuchen ein. Das Haus ist hervorragend eingerichtet, die Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen.
