THE PROPERTY: Double bedroom downstairs and additional low ceiling bedroom upstairs in mezzanine area that holds two single beds. Living room with double sofa bed. Separate toilet and shower, as well as own kitchenette.

My property is on same plot, but are set far apart. Chalet has its own gate and entry into garden, gardens are is quite private.

All un all a nice place. The only stress was not getting the checkin info on time, so had to contact the owner directly once we arrived. She blamed the app for the problem?
We had a great time in London. We wanted a quieter less expensive place for 6 of us outside the city. This was a great location and very nice host. It is clean, smaller, quaint but fine for us since we were mostly out and about seeing the city and surrounding areas. Great communication to us from the host. Getting keys and into the home was easy. The driveway to the property is very small and you can miss it if you blink so follow the directions they send. Appreciated the towels, bedding and pillows all clean and ready when we arrived. We happened to arrive during a heatwave so the two floor fans there were very much needed. Overall a great VRBO experience for us and a good value.

Do not like leaving poor reviews but of the 5 Vrbo’s we stayed at during our vacation. This was the worst! It’s advertised for sleeping 6 but it’s probably only suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The property manager did warn us it would be small for 6 adults and we would’ve been ok with the close quarters but for one thing, spiders everywhere! The attic which my adult kids slept in has about 3 feet clearance from the bed to the ceiling, and there were spiders just above their heads. Plus there was some kind of bug droppings on their beds and nightstand. Of the 3 nights we booked we stayed one then left and checked into a hotel. The property manager tried to be accommodating but I just have to draw the line with spiders in such a confined space!
Gerards Cross is absolutely charming and was a nice outlet after visiting touristy London. We did not have a car so had to depend on Uber and doing things on foot, which worked out fine once we got in a groove. The chalet feels very private with a lovely lawn space and little patio. Everything was spotless upon our arrival and felt very clean and complete with everything we needed for our stay. Despite the kitchen area being tiny, we were able to accomplish lots of cooking during our stay, which was a nice relief not to have to eat out for every meal. There is an amazing grocery store about a two minute walk away and a very lovely park with a walking trail. Upon first arrival, you have walk of drive up a small lsne that is part of an auto tire shop, which is not well maintained by the shop, but don’t let that fool you because as soon as you arrive at the gate of this rental, you will likely be as pleasantly surprised as we were by the gem that’s behind the gate. Our family of five was comfortable with our two boys in the loft area and our daughter on the couch with us in the main bedroom. It was a lovely stay and a lot of fun seeing the beautiful homes in the area and their incredible gardens. Overall, we highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a true, non-touristy English Living experience that is in close proximity to all of the tourist sites. A car could definitely come and use, but be sure to explore the town on foot in order to really capture all its charm!
We needed to get to London for an early appointment here was ideal yes we had a car but the fast train from Gerrard Cross was perfect. Easy walk to local shops wonderful garden great couple of nights

Nice but way too noisy
The location is practical because next to a train station leading directly to London (20mn).
But the chalet is not luxury. Very small, the windows giving either on a very big road with a lot of traffic, either on the house of the owners.
No sink, just a tiny dishwasher in a closet in the living-room .
The place is very noisy, any time, day and night.
The owner was nice though.

Comfortable chalet in Herts
We had a comfortable stay in the chalet whilst down visiting family in the area. It is reasonably price for what it is. I wouldn't say it is a Luxury Chalet but it worked well for us as we had two dogs, so it was great to have the garden and safe area for them. The pluses are the mattresses are very comfortable, the heaters are efficient and it is good for transport into London should you want that. The minuses I would say are that it is very near a busy main road so if you want quiet, then it isn't really and it is not somewhere that you can cook very easily but there is a hotplate you can heat stuff up. There is no kitchen as such but fine if you're eating out elsewhere. Shirin was great at communicating and answering any queries and she and her family live at the top of the garden and are on hand if you need them.

Lovely Cozy Little Log Cabin
Nice cozy retreat absolutely perfect for our needs while working in the local area, much more pleasant and convenient than B&B with plenty of room for 3 grown men to relax and kick back at the end of the day with a good wifi connection and sky TV.
For holiday makers looking for a base to explore London and surrounding areas this is perfect as accommodation is this area is quite hard to find.
Great communication from Shirin and Bozena and we very much intend to book again when we return to the area.

Great location for exploring South Bucks and very comfortable too
Secluded behind a large hedge and femce the chalet is just yards away from the ancient Greyhound Inn at Chalfont St Peters where we had an excellent dinner on Saturday evening. The main bedroom is very comfortable with lots of cupboard space. The upstairs twin bedroom is unusual and cosy and yes, do mind your heads! The living room has everything you need and we enjoyed sitting outside by the pond for breakfast. The enclosed garden was perfect for out little dog to wander around in complete safety. Shirin is a very welcoming host and is on the spot if needed. The information she sent us before our stay was very comprehensive and helpful. We visited Old Amersham and had drinks at the historic Kings Arms on Friday. On Saturday we went to Coombe Hill and did a wonderfull walk near Chequers and through the villages of Ellesborough and Butlers Cross. Do visit the Russell Arms for superb food and first class service. We also visited nearby Princes Risboro and Tring. A lovely and yet not very well known corner of England. We will return and happily stay at Shirin's chalet again.

Translation of this review is that its in a great location, but its small for 6 people and that internet signal is poor.
My response: The advert description is very detailed and accurate. There is a double bedroom, a mezannine area and a sofa bed in the living room. Its up to the guest to decide if this sleeping set-up is suitable for them as a group of 6.
With regards to the internet some devices work perfectly okay, some devices have weaker reception, but in welcome pack we explain the spots in the chalet that have the strongest reception, and in the garden there is perfect wifi reception.
Thank you.

Good location and great space for 2 people
The cottage is accessible to a lot of destinations, however a little too close to the main road for me. It is comfortable space for 2 people, and everything you need is provided. We were able to eat breakfast there due to refrigerator and electric kettle. Be aware that the loft space is not adequate for 2 people, big or small. It is accessible by a ladder and both of my 2 teenage daughters bumped their foreheads severely when awaking due to the very, very low beams in the loft. (It is more like a crawl space in a loft. ) That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Would love to return!
Beautiful and private chalet sufficient for 5 people (2 adults, 3 children) and 2 dogs. Safe enclosure for dogs and trampoline, football goals for the children.. It offers everything one needs to feel comfortable. Cooking is possible in the kitchenette, a fridge and small dishwasher are also available. Wifi reception works depending on your smartphone, tablet etc. The owners are welcoming and helpful.
Excellent location. Close to Windsor, Harry Potter studios and Legoland as well as Bracknell Forest and the Chilterns. Also, a visit to the Chiltern Open Air Museum is recommended. Great pubs in the area.
All in all a stay here is highly recommended!

a lovely setting for a clever chalet
This is a lovely wooden chalet at the bottom of the owners garden. There is some road noise but it is not a nuisance. The chalet is advertised as sleeping 6. 6 adults would be a squeeze. Be aware that the twin beds are in a mezzanine area with a ladder to access. You can't be very tall or big as you won't fit in the beds but perfect for 10 years plus I'd say. The space is well laid out and has everything you need, including a pub within 3 mins walk.

Nice chalet. Suitable for family.
Excellent starting point for exploring beautiful Chilterns and visiting London (half-hour train ride). Friendly, helpfull owner. We enjoyed our stay in Chalfont St-Peter. The chalet looked nice and was suitable for our family with three childern (5, 9 and 12). Cooking facilities ok for having breakfast or a small meal. Bathroom simple but sufficient. Be aware that the only running water point is in the bathroom.
