Lovely cottage in a beautiful harbour village. Definitely recommend. Well equipped cottage but bedroom is in the roof so you have to be carefully with low ceiling, you get used to it though.
We had a great week at the cottage. It was lovely for me to be back home and get to stay in the village where my grandparents first lived. The cottage was clean and cozy and being located right at the sea front made it easy for us to go swimming, rock pooling and exploring. A great week!
This is a snug wee cottage, well equipped, clean and fresh. Great walks right from the front door and the beach must be one of the best in Scotland. Portsoy has a good bakery, well-stocked Co-op and an excellent new restaurant (Aspire). Cullen has antique shops, a must-see Heritage Centre and more good eating (Royal Oak). Fordyce . . . Don't forget to visit Fordyce. With your camera.
I booked this cottage on behalf of my parents.as a family we are familiar of the area and have been visiting since the1970’s.they have been to many places over the world but keep getting drawn back to sandend with its beautiful beach and quaint harbour village.the cottage has everything you could ask for.the upstairs are well decorated with very nice furnishings. There’s a cosy snug to relax after a busy day.a large dining area big enough for a large family.a galley style kitchen with everything you will need.at the end of the hall is the toilet with a big shower. My parents lived there stay so I’m hoping to book later this year for myself. I would highly recommend. Thanks to jane who made things so easy. The Whyte family
