Good location & space, details lacking

Yes, this flat is large & roomy and very convenient to the Tube stop. But details matter, and we had workmen in the flat 5 different days (out of 10) trying to fix the boiler which determined the hot water and the radiators. The radiators would not shut off, leaving the flat mostly hot. Hopefully, you won’t want to cook here, because only one out of three burners work, and was dangerously hard to light and turn off. We found the batteries hanging out of the smoke detector. The TV didn’t work for the first few days we were there, then it mostly worked but not every channel. The wi-fi was intermittent. Odd assortment of amenities - lots of bath towels but no towels for the kitchen. Only shower has so much lime deposit on the shower head it sprays everywhere. The washer worked but not the dryer. There were no directions anywhere and I accidentally turned off the freezer trying to figure out what all the switches were for. It’s the little things that shows the care into the property and those were all lacking.

Great location

We were pleased with the stay but there were some minor issues. Bathrooms need attention with loose or missing fixtures and loose tile under the shower. Rooms need luggage racks with limited space in one of the bedrooms. The unit is on Earls Court Road which is busy - there is some traffic noise. Beds are American double sized. This unit is on the first floor with fabulous ceiling height, great den with streaming TV, large dining room and kitchen. Buses and underground are close - no need for car rental.

Disappointing

Outside of the location, this property unfortunately lacked everything else. We were told a 4pm check in but upon arriving it was still being "cleaned". It was difficult to figure out who to contact to check in. The photos taken must have been at least 5 years old. The couches were stained and frayed, there were stains all over the walls, and multiple broken tiles and mirrors. There is only one usable shower available. The kitchen was dirty, the coffee and tea containers had standing water and were stained as well. Overall very disappointing
