1938 Home In The Heart Of Lander

This is a Montgomery Wards kit home that was brought in by train. It is located on one of the oldest streets in town. You are 3 blocks from Main Street and only 5 from our beautiful city park were the popoagie river runs. This home is 3 levels with lots of stairs. On the top floor there are two bedrooms king size bed and a queen size bed with one full bath and a 1/2 bath. 4 can sleep on this level. The main level has 1 bedroom with a pull out couch. This is a full size and 2 people can sleep on this level. There is a 1/2 bath also. The basement has a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. There is also a Day bed off of the living room which can sleep 1. The basement sleeps 3. This house has beds for 9 total. The kitchen table has 8 chairs. And there are two living rooms. The basement living room has a surround sound for movie viewing. Nice large yard with a bbq grill and a 6 person hot tub. At times the wild life is in or around the yard.

We loved our stay when we were in town for our daughter's wedding. It worked well for our entire family including our 2 year old grandson and infant granddaughter. The hot tub was wonderful for relaxing from busy days! The fenced in backyard was appreciated for safety for our grandson. The house was very clean and Tara was great to work with!

Tara is a terrific host in a great neighborhood. The house was immaculate and nicely furnished. It is within walking distance to town and community park. The outdoor area included a fenced yard with nice grass lawn and plenty of patio seating. Tara made extra effort to make sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Lander!

Like an HGTV Dream Home

This wonderful, historic home in the fun and funky town of Lander, Wyoming exceeded all of our expectations. It has been lovingly renovated to impeccable standards by a host who should have her own HGTV show. The interiors are fun, comfortable and stylish and very, very CLEAN. Lovely grounds, beautiful neighborhood, short walk to main street. This property is a gem!

Our son's wedding gathering in Lander

We so enjoyed our 4 night stay at Tara's home. It truly felt like "home away from home." The location was perfect for walks to the park, trips up to Sinks Canyon, & early morning walks though the lovely neighborhood. Tara was kind & made us feel very welcome.

Terrific family home

This is our third time staying at this home - terrific location, a few blocks both from the the City park and downtown. Huge yard with games, hot tub, BBQ, outdoor seating, and comfortable space for indoors. The host is very responsive and even came quickly to rescue us when we locked ourselves out. We hope to make this an annual vacation at this home!
