Lovely accommodation and area, very cosy, some of the appliances were a little difficult to use, cooker took quite a while to cook things so with a couple of kids wanting different teas it took a little longer and cold tap took a little while to get cold but overall had a lovely time and would stay again
Lodge clean with every facility. Location perfect for dog walks and nearness of Amble and coast.Crazy horse pub on site excellent food plus live entertainment .Would highly recommend and return again
Ideally located to explore the area. Could do with some updates on the cutlery and glassware - hardly any flute glasses , not many plastic glasses for hot tub and only large mugs - no cups and sauces. Some of the outside lights weren’t working neither was the fire although one of the owners did come to check this the day after we reported the issue but was not able to fix during our stay but hopefully will be done soon now it’s on the radar
