This house was a great stay for my 3 adult kids and me. Right near/in town so very convenient. We only needed lodging this time, but for a longer stay it will be nice to have the kitchen and even a grill on the deck.

Our trip was a visit to spend time with my son and family. The location of the home was convenient to everything we wanted to do.
We did have a minor issue with the heater, but Chris took care of it very quickly.
It was okay, but some weird renovations and very small. Glad it was only one night. The owner is kind and helpful, but the property was small. Not recommended for families or young kids, in my opinion.

The house itself inside was very clean and nice inside. We had enough room for the family plus we were able to bring the dog. Somethings that i would recommend is locks in the windows, better and more private curtains. House is located in not a great area in Hibbing. Too much noise, drunk people loud middle of the night just didnt feel very safe.

Pay for what you get
Watch out for the carpet on the stairs, I got a rug staple to the foot. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Definitely priced right for what you get.
At looking at the site the furnishings look great, but when you see them in person, they really took the cheap way to remodel the house. The carpet upstairs had a half inch gap between seams, there is an inch or so lip going into the bathroom door where you stub your toe on a night which my husband did and cut his toe on. No grab bars in the shower, very unsafe. The living room furniture had a tear in the arm chair and stuffing coming out of it. Nice deck too bad only person could sit out on it because there isn’t any lawn chairs except for one cheap plastic one. Needless to say if we come back to Hibbing,MN we will stay at the Hampton Inn.
The house was clean. We just needed a place to eat, sleep and shower. It checked all those boxes. Host communicated early with access info too so that was easy. No frills house. Lots of plugins and highly scented detergent in sheets and towels. The neighborhood would be a bit scary for me if I was by myself (woman). Lots of cars coming and going throughout the night to surrounding homes/ apartments.
Made a last minute decision to head out for a long weekend snowmobiling. Location was great for catching the trail right in town or a short trailer to parking area if not much snow on the roads. From there you can hit a ton of awesome trails around Grand Rapids, Hibbing, or even head all the way to Vermilion like we did one day.
Great location in town, and walking distance to many great drink and food establishments, tried something new each day!
House was recently updated, had more space than expected. Kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast and a simple dinner. Parking was good for a 1/2ton truck and 12ft snowmobile trailer. Appreciated we could bring the dogs along too.

The area around this house is part old commercial and part empty and dilapidated. I was traveling alone and felt I was in an unsafe area. The house was secure with good locks though. The first night the occupied house next door had a consistent banging on the door at 3 am and woke me up. The next 2 nights were without incident. Overall I liked the place for its cleanliness and updated bath and kitchen. Having streaming TV’s was very nice. I would stay here again if back in town.
This house is nicely renovated inside. Roku tvs in the living room and queen bedroom. There’s a double futon in the room next to the living room. Outdated couch and chair, but comfy! Things to note: bring blankets. There’s aren’t any for the double bed, and just the comforter for the two beds upstairs. I slept with just a sheet so my daughter could have the comforter.
Not the greatest neighborhood, but overall ok. Street parking that follows odd/even calendar days. Could easily walk to downtown or Bennett Park.
We would stay again for a weekend visit to Hibbing.
The property, while clean, is very dated. The interior was clean and has had some updates and is functional. None of the windows would open, which would have been nice in the evenings. The two bedrooms are upstairs and the carpet covered steps are narrow and can be slippery. We were limited in our options because we were traveling with our dog. The neighborhood was run down….the house next door is literally falling down. I know the owner is doing his best and was very communicative, which we appreciated. Personally, we will look for other options if we come back to the Hibbing area.
