About the host
Hosted by Helen Cleary
Denis and I have retired from teaching although Denis is still heavily involved in badminton coaching and playing in the veterans tournaments at an international level. This project came about just before Covid and took longer than we would have liked to come to fruition! We absolutely love this change in career direction, the interesting people we meet and having made so many friends from hosting along the way. We are both Yorkshire folk and give a warm welcome to anyone comeing to this beautiful corner of Noroth Yorkshire.
Why they chose this property
We have lived in Easingwold since 1994 and in this location for 11 years. It is perfect!! We are tucked away but so close to all amenities that we can shop, go for country walks, visit the cafes and pubs without using the car. The North Yorkshire Moors, the coast, Natioanl Trust and English Heritage sites are in abundance.
What makes this property unique
Our annex was converted in 2020 and has a modern, contempory feel as soon as you walk through the door. There is a private courtyard for guests use and we believe in giving as much privacy as possible by screening with willow, trellis and plants. It has its own parking place in the centre of the town, right outside the door. We believe there is everything required for a guests stay. Whether for one night or two weeks. All the accommodation is one one floor with a power walk in shower, king sized bed and underfloor heating. We think that Little Ings does not reflect ourselves but is decorated to please the most discerning eye!
