Uniquely, a small walk up the road will take you to Longley Woods Nature Reserve where you’ll find their Wellbeing Trail – a walk designed for the body and mind. Huddersfield itself is a creative town, rich in culture and the birthplace of Rugby League. The centre can easily be reached in a 30-minute walk, 5-minute drive or via the local bus route. It’s home to plentiful amenities including shops, restaurants, bars and green space. There’s the Huddersfield Art Gallery, the University of Huddersfield and Huddersfield Town Football Stadium, together with the beautiful Greenhead Park and the peaceful escape of Beaumont Park.
