The location is kind of shady. Everything is close by, but the area looks trashy, getto. Asking for too much money for what you get.

Basic apartment
The apartment is very close to the train station Termini but the area is a little rough especially at night. The flat is spacious but the equipment on the whole rather basic (e.g. little space for bath towels, no storage area in the bathroom for a toiletry bag etc, uncomfortable folding chairs in the kitchen, very old carpets). There was a strong chlorine smell in the bathroom and the heater was not working. The washing machine on the other hand was great and there was washing liquid.
Our greeter was very friendly but 20min late despite telling her our arrival time in advance. On our last day the key lock of the building seemed to be broken (our key didn’t fit) and we couldn’t get in without the help of neighbours opening the door for us from the inside.
Overall, the apartment is well-located and great for trips in Rome, but you shouldn’t expect too much.
