The property was perfect for our family of 10. There was lots of room for everyone and the house was beautiful. The location was ideal for touring around with visits to Stirling, Loch Lomond and St. Andrew’s. We loved Callendar and enjoyed exploring and some great restaurants. Highly recommend it.

This was by far our favorite vacation rental for our family of 7 travelers. 2 teens, 2 twenties, mom, dad and grandma. Everyone loved this property. Our host was wonderful and the location was lovely. Quiet, yet right in town near restaurants, grocery, shopping and even hiking trails to a nearby bridge and waterfall. Just perfect!

We were looking for a property where we could all be together, in preparation for a family wedding. It was a stunning property, perfect for the Bride to be, to get photos taken and leave from.
House is very clean, has all the amenities you can think of and has a very relaxed feel about it. We were fortunate with the weather and spent some time relaxing in the beautiful garden. The house is very close to the main street, ideal for walking and exploring the area. We would definitely recommend Annfield House.

Hi Lesley, thanks for the lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks also for leaving the house so clean and tidy.
We are so happy that the bride had a great experience.
All the best, David and Alison.
We received a warm welcome by David who gave us a tour of the house and showed us how to work the heating and highlighted any must know information. We settled in right away and felt quite at home. The bathrooms/bedrooms were beautifully presented and spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was decorated with lovely Christmas lights. Overall it was an ideal location for a family get together with plenty of space to cook, entertain and relax. The only improvement we would suggest is a larger fridge/freezer and perhaps an upgrade of the sofa in the main lounge. Neither of these things impacted our fantastic stay. All in all we would definitely recommend and return one day.

We chose Callander as our "home base" while traveliing in Scotland. We had 7 various family members in our group. We just loved the Annfield House.
It is so warm and cozy and comfy to stay in. Each family member had personal or shared rooms and many toilets/showers sure made living together very easy :-) We took advantage of the kitchen and great big dining room when not dining out.
Just a few steps to main street Callander, we walked all over the town and shopped and enjoyed the local restaurants and pubs.
Our hosts were outstanding, easy to get a hold of if necessary, offered great advise to the sites of the area. The welcoming treats were greatly appreciated after our long time travelling from Canada.
There are many stairs in this house...we put the younger folks on the top floor. But, the spaciousness was wonderful!!!!
I would highly recommend the Annfield House to any group staying in the Callander region.
