About this property

Little Stone House With Swimming Pool Under The Tree

This typical dalmatian stone house is more than 120 years old. We had it renovated with care from 2021 to 2022. The intention was to give our guests maximum comfort and relaxation trough carefully designed indoor - outdoor spaces. During the warm part of the year our ancestors found the outdoor space as the only real living room with most of the everyday life happening in the yard so we took that as our main guideline on how to create a quality stay for our guests.

The indoor of the house consists of two parts, the ground floor with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room and first floor with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is little but equipped boutique style for maximum enjoyment and comfort.

The outdoor part is designed as an open-air extension of the living room with a big kostela tree that gives fairly large shade and summer breeze during the whole day. There is a nice swimming pool 10 m long so you can have a swimming experience together with an outdoor shower. The yard has a grill with a sink. There is a big outdoor table with two banks, a large lounge area that overlooks the whole yard and nice sunbathing area. As addition there is a garden toilet to quickly get dry or change clothes after swimming along with a washing machine.

Just in front of the house is a private parking for guests.

The house is fully equipped and comes with net against mosquitoes on all doors and windows, air condition and WiFi connection.

Our goal is to provide rest and relaxation trough quality accommodation. We hope all our guests will experience our efforts first hand.

Family vacation (4 adults) September 2022

Right from the start, we can highly recommend a vacation here in this wonderfully restored farm house. To begin with, we were met by our gracious and friendly host Vladimir, who not only picked us up from our highway exit, and showed the way to the house, but also provided us with a welcoming of the local cheese, ham, wine and grapes of the area, all bio! The farmhouse has been meticulously restored with fine craftsmanship and the interior, as done by Vladimir’s wife, Csilla, compliments the house with its’ beautiful accents. All the rooms are very well furnished with built-in closets, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning. There is great Wifi and for an unlikely rainy day all the TV Channels you can ask for. The house includes a swimming pool (not heated) and grill in a pleasant setting of which we took advantage of the quiet area also to relax and read and gaze upon the stars. Vladimir was also helpful giving us tips on beaches and cultural highlights of the area which are many. You do, of course, need a car…. There are no downsides to the house, however, the village of Čista Mala has many abandoned houses since the war there in the early nineties. However, this should not be disconcerting for future visitors, as the area is being revitalised by people like Vladimir and his family and it is of great help to support this venture, you will not be disappointed! It was my first time in Croatia, I will certainly be returning.

Wenn man seine absolute Privatsphäre haben will, dann ist diese Unterkunft genau das richtige. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde alles eingerichtet. Ein Vermieter der sich für seine Gäste in allen Belangen engagiert. Wir hatten 2 wundervolle erholsame Wochen in diesem traumhaften Ferienhaus. Man kann es ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.
