The country style kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining area provides a sociable space to come together after a long day exploring the local area. From the kitchen, enter into a large conservatory that catches the sun for much of the day, here you can sit and relax, read a book, or enjoy a competitive board game. There’s a plethora of tea rooms and independent shops as well as a selection of dining options in pubs and restaurants. Local attractions include the Bayle Museum, Bridlington Priory which dates back to 1113 AD and was once one of England’s leading Monasteries, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Bruton Agnes Hall. Bridlington also offers two award-winning beaches. Alternatively, take a romantic stroll along the historic harbour or catch an evening performance at the Bridlington Spa Theatre. Bridlington also offers a year-round calendar of events – a particular favourite with the locals is the 1940’s weekend and Old Town Festival. A little further afield is the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast, here you can take a hike along the towering chalk cliffs, admire the imposing lighthouse or enjoy some time at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. The unspoilt Yorkshire Wolds also offers miles of footpaths and cycle routes. Jackdaw House is the perfect place for your Yorkshire Coast holiday. Beach 1.5 mile
