Not at all as advertised.
We had such high hopes. Upon arrival we realized that this is not lakefront. It is in a weedy area that LEADS to the lake. Definitely not lake front. The insides of the cottage were in disrepair. The couch was broken, the lazyboy was broken, two dining chairs were so wiggly we put them away. One bedroom door refused to close. There are no window coverings and the cabin is definitely not in a remote area that people can’t be seeing in. Bathroom light only works properly some of the time. The promised canoe and kayak are useless. Only one paddle for a canoe that did not appear water worthy and the kayak had one broken paddle making it unusable. No life jackets as promised. Garbage in a broken open bag under the deck. The beds were horrid. One was rock hard and one was a boxspring with just a foam piece on top. We left early. Booked for four days and left early day three after not being able to stand it any longer. Disappointed in the cottage and disappointed in Vrbo for allowing this.
