A cosy, well appointed cottage to return to
This lovely, cosy cottage exceeded our expectations and we felt at home immediately we walked in the door. Supplied with everything we needed and more - loved that it has a teapot as many places don't. The views are breathtaking even in the rain and we loved it being next to the railway. Very quiet, especially considering it's proximity to the A9 which makes it easy to get to other places. We would definitely return. The only small suggestions we have are a visitor's book to sign and a path from the railway crossing to the door as the grass was quite wet, that said it is one of the best properties we have stayed in - highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Croft in Lovely Setting
This is a must if visiting the East Coast of the Scottish Highlands, we used this Croft as a base to explore the NC500 over a couple of days. The owners were amazing, keeping in contact to advise when the Croft was ready as it became available earlier than the expected arrival time. They also advised of great places to visit and eat whilst staying there in their welcome booklet on your arrival. The Croft is set in a lovely setting overlooking the North Sea. At most times of the day you can see Seals playing on the beach (which you have direct access to). On arrival you do need to cross the Railway Line to access the property and worth driving over if you have a lot of luggage. (Stay safe and follow the instructions in the welcome booklet). Highly recommend, would stay again if we return to the East to explore more.

Auld but nicely updated.
Clean, well equipped, warm, lovely location, thoughful touches like coffee machine and decanter of whiskey; unlike many places a good sized television and very good WiFi. Excellent.
