We had a great 3 weeks … stunning views and a great cottage … wished we could’ve stayed longer… a very well equipped kitchen with an abundance of crockery to use … the fires were amazing on a cold evening… and the sky TV was a great addition too …The only negative comment was the lack of storage in the bathrooms … maybe a couple of shelves on the walls to store toiletries would benefit the cottage
Ground floor bedroom cannot be aired, beautiful en suite bathroom, also cannot be aired, a shame because the views are stunning and the kitchen/dinner wonderful. We found the access road difficult.

Honest and authentic cottage bursting with charm.
Honest and authentic cottage bursting with charm. We had an excellent visit to the cottage for New Year. Owner had prepped both fires in advance of our late arrival on a cold night. Excellent communication and friendly approach by the owner. We are familiar with the area and embrace the step back in time where things are more of a slow pace. stunning views and friendly locals. Bedding and rooms were befitting of the charm of the cottage, the small living room only added to the charm and cosiness. The kitchen and sitting area offered a large communal area for our group to engage over meal times by the wood burning stove. The kitchen again honest has all that you need and perfectly suits the authentic charm of owl cottage. Highly recommended for a no fuss break away from the rat race.
