This traditional stone villa was built in 2003. The villa is surrounded with 2000 square meters of natural plot with olive trees and garden. Its one kilometre away from the typical Greek village Megali Mandinia with panoramic view to the Messinian Bay and the impressive mountain Taygetos.
The 170 sq meter stone house has 2 bedrooms in the main part of the villa. Main bedroom with 1 double bed and second bedroom with 3 single beds. The detached tower has 1 main bedroom with double bed and bathroom in the first floor and double bed sofa in the ground floor. The villa conteins a big living room with 2 relaxing sofa's, 1 big armchair, 42" TV Full HD, dvd player and a nice fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen offers you all the necessary amenities that you might need for cooking.
The 8 meters swimming pool will give you relaxing and refreshing moments in the hot summer days.
In the village you can taste Greek typical plates in one of the three taverns in reasonable prices.
The beach Sandova and Akrogiali is three kilometres away and you can enjoy your time at the sea having a snack or a drink to the beach bar Hobo hearing good music.
Kalamata is a beautiful city 12 km away that you can find anything you may want, also a lively night life, supermarkets, museums, banks, restaurants.
From this part of Peloponnese you can make small excursions to ancient Messini that it has an impressive well reserved ancient monument with a stadium, theatre, columns and other. You can also visit the Messinian and Laconian Mani with the beautiful picturesque villages and the traditional architect houses.

We’ve had an amazing trip. The house and pool were really fabulous. Loads of space for us all. Very comfortable beds. We loved eating out on the terrace in the evenings listening to the cicadas. The local beaches were lovely and uncrowded. Communication was perfect. You need a car to travel around.

Great place. Out on the hills and not overlooked... you felt alone and had your own privaste place in the middle of nowhere. Shops about 10 min drive away. Pool a good size. Very quiet. Sunsets and sunrises overlooking the harbour of Kalmata absolutely out of this world

Hideaway in paradise

We had the perfect stay at this gorgeous house - the view from the terrace was to die for!! Very quiet and private. You do need a car to get around and there are plenty of facilities a short car-ride away. The whole family absolutely loved it! If you have very small children, the pool area can be a little tricky as the surrounding walls are quite narrow and fairly high up. But for us it was perfect.

What a beautiful location. The views from the covered terrace took our breath away with the sunsets over the Messanian Bay to our keft and the awe inspiring Taygetus mountains to the right.Our hosts Eleni and Serafim were there to meet us to hand over the keys and show us the house which did not disappoint. Everything is as described.If you can tear yourself away from the house and lovely pool there are two delightful village taverns within 3 minutes drive and the beaches with more tavernas and a very useful mini-mart only a further 8 minutes away.If you are looking for peace and quiet and spectacular views this is the place for you.Oh, and did I mention the views!Thank you aagain Eleni and Serafim

Very relaxing location, the property isn’t suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues. There are high walls and steps with no guards or hand rail, had a couple of small issues with the fridge and water supply, after texting the owner he didn’t even reply.

Aufenthalt auf dem PeloponnesWir haben fast zehn Tage in diesem Haus verbracht und uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. Die Lage ist ruhig, abseits der Ortschaft, mit weitem Blick ĂŒber die Landschaft – besonders vom Balkon im ersten Stock einfach traumhaft. Das GrundstĂŒck ist groß, gepflegt und grĂŒn, mit Oliven- und ZitronenbĂ€umen. Parken ist unkompliziert, die Zufahrt gut.Der Pool ist sauber, abends stimmungsvoll beleuchtet und ideal zum AbkĂŒhlen. Die Terrasse aus Naturstein lĂ€dt zum Essen und Entspannen ein. Innen ist das Haus schlicht, praktisch und angenehm kĂŒhl, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Drei saubere BĂ€der, gute Betten, ausreichend HandtĂŒcher – alles wie beschrieben.Die KĂŒche ist funktional und vollstĂ€ndig, nur beim KĂŒhlschrank sollte man auf die TĂŒr achten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die hervorragende Kommunikation mit dem EigentĂŒmer: Jede Nachricht wurde sofort beantwortet, telefonisch war er ebenfalls erreichbar – das war wirklich außergewöhnlich.In der NĂ€he gibt es eine kleine Taverne mit einfacher, leckerer griechischer KĂŒche. Schöne StrĂ€nde und viele Ausflugsziele sind schnell erreichbar. Wer gerne lĂ€uft oder Rad fĂ€hrt, findet rund ums Haus perfekte Bedingungen.Ein Haus mit Charme und Charakter, kein Luxus, aber ehrlich, gepflegt und besonders. Prachtig gelegen huis

Het huis ligt prachtig in een rustig, wat afgelegen omgeving. Fijne buitenruimte met mooi zwembad. Binnen is het op orde. Slaapkamers zijn netjes en ruim. Badkamer niet zo praktisch. Douchekop kan niet worden opgehangen, waardoor je de sproeier in de hand moet houden. We misten theedoeken en poetsdoeken. Verder alles top!

Einfach großartig

Die Bilder werden diesem tollen Anwesen gar nicht gerecht: es gibt verschiede Terassen, sodass man immer ein schattiges PlĂ€tzchen findet. Es gibt verschiedene EssplĂ€tze, Korbmöbel und Liegen zum Relaxen. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die obere Terasse von der aus wir die Sterne betrachtet und viele Sternschnuppen gesehen haben. Es ist wunderbar still und trotzdem nicht abgeschieden. Ein kleiner feiner suaberer Kieselstrand ist in 5 Fahrminuten erreichbar. Hier gibt es ein paar Lokale. An Tavernen fehlt es ebenfalls nicht in der nĂ€heren Umgebung. Kalamata mit vielen Einkaufs- und EssensmĂ€glichkeiten ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Hier ist ein safter Tourusmus vorhanden. Der Pool ist toll, am Ende sogar sehr tief, sodass man ohne Sorge reinspringen kann. Er wurde regelmĂ€ĂŸig gereinigt und ist nachts beleuchtet. Einmal wöchentlich wurden die HandtĂŒcher gewechselt. Alles war blitzsauber. Das tollste war der Bilck: schaut man nach links ist dort das Meer, schaut man nach rechts sind dort die Berge. Auch bei 40°C war alles wunderbar grĂŒn. Also: wir kommen wieder, es war einfach traumhaft.

Vier großartige Wochen

Das Haus ist großartig. Serafin und seine Frau sind zu jeder Zeit fĂŒr Fragen und sonstiges erreichbar. Der Hauskeeper und seine Frau sind sehr zuverlĂ€ssig und diskret. Alle sind sehr freundlich. Man fĂŒhlt sich rundum wohl. Die Umgebung ist einfach ein Traum. Man kann Jedermanns BedĂŒrfnisse stillen. In Kalamata Action in den umliegenden Fischerörtchen Ruhe und kleine Buchten mit herrlichem Essen. Wir wollten nicht mehr weg.

Lovely country-style villa - comfortable but not luxurious. Isolated giving complete privacy. Seven minute drive to nearest beach, 12 to mini market, 15 to supermarket. Large pool and patio. Could have done with more information concerning villa operation (water heating/wifi/pool) and local amenities and points of interest.

Very traditional Greek Villa,peaceful and very serine,if relaxing and taking a dip in the pool is what you seek ,this is a perfect place! It is remote so I suggest that you have a car,nearest restaurant is a twenty minute walk and you definitely need a car to get groceries! I would recommend for future guests,that the caregiver does more than hand you the keys and leave,i as would have a book with the best restaurants in area and markets!I put my own hand drawn maps on bulletin board,also what to do if hot water goes out,internet and so on! If you know what to expect and are prepared,I would recommend this Villa,just need’s some better care by owner and caregiver, Thanks ,we enjoyed our stay and look forward to possibly returning

Perfekter Urlaub

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Nicht nur weil das Wetter super war, sondern auch weil das Ferienhaus fĂŒr uns perfekt war. Bei der Ausstattung gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt, um sich wohlzufĂŒhlen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants sowie StrĂ€nde sind in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Ein schönes Ferienhaus fernab des touristischen Trubels mit phĂ€nomenalem Blick ĂŒber die Berge und das Meer. Der Außenbereich ist mit Terrasse, Pool, Grillbereich und Garten sehr großzĂŒgig angelegt. Serafim hat uns erwartet und uns alles genau erklĂ€rt und wertvolle Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge gegeben. Vielen Dank an Serafim fĂŒr die Geschenke und GetrĂ€nke. Wer Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und die Schönheit der Natur sucht, ist hier absolut am richtigen Ort - zu 100% weiterzuempfehlen.
