Built in 1910, the Kirk at Kildonan is a unique and listed Arts and Crafts church, now converted into some of the most stylish self catering holiday accommodation on the Isle of Arran, and as such, have a communal entrance. The owner also lives on-site and is on hand should you need advice or assistance during your stay. The Kirk has stunning sea views and on clear nights the starry vistas can take your breath away. The beach is only a few minutes’ walk, and on the ever changing shoreline you can spot seals, sea otters and a myriad of sea birds.
With the Eas-mor Ecology Project and its 103ft waterfall literally moments away, there’s no shortage of wonderful things to explore right on your doorstep. The Isle of Arran is a place where you can find a little bit of everything you would ever want from a Scottish island; an ever-changing coastline, dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches, verdant forests, great cultural festivals and a wealth of tasty local produce.
