Timbessie Barn is a characterful barn conversion set in the heart of the beautifully traditional Yorkshire Dales village of Carperby.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Toilet (Only), Heated Towel Rail, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Zip and Link Single Beds (Super Kingsize On Request) Ensuite: Toilet (Only), Heated Towel Rail, Toilet

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, No Toilet

First Floor:

Living/dining room: Freeview TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Woodburner

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request.. Enclosed, gravelled courtyard with patio and garden furniture. Private parking by direct arrangement with owner; additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: The external stone steps in the courtyard are not required for access purposes.. The barn is upside down in nature with it’s bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. The kitchen and living/dining room are on the first floor, making the most of the vaulted, wooden beamed ceilings and the views over Wensleydale.

Timbessie Barn is perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales with numerous marked footpaths from the doorstep and beauty spots such as Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle within walking distance. Hawes, with the Wensleydale Creamery and Hardraw Falls, are only a short drive away. Other popular spots such as Malham Cove, White Scar Cave and Ribblehead Viaduct make for a great day trip. After a day exploring you can either have a cosy night in warming your toes by the wood burner or head out for some good food and a drink at the village pub, just a 2-minute walk away.

Outside the barn benefits from a gated, dry stone walled courtyard with seating and a grassed garden area with garden furniture and room for playing and /or parking. The nearest shop is at the garage in Aysgarth, the nearest pub is a 2 minute walk away.

The drop from these steps is unguarded. For small children a stair gate, travel cot and high chair are available for use inside the Barn.

Great house is perfect location.

Great house is perfect location. All very clean and tastefully furnished. We must admit we did miss not having a washing machine and would have happily traded the freezer for a washing machine but other than this everything else was perfect.

Great location.

Great location. , well equipped, comfortable barn. Ideally needs an outside tap for those with dogs. Found it difficult to dry wet walking gear. The second bedroom was quite damp when we stayed and mould starting to grow. The owner is aware and looking into solving this issue. Local pub great many walks from the barn .
