A local who travels extensively and would like to ensure the house is used and not vacant. I chose this area because I wanted easy access to the beaches, shopping centers and the airport. Also wanted a safe neighbourhood for peace of mind and security.
I know all the neighbours in the area and am very considerate about renters to ensure there are no unnecessary inconveniences, loud noise, parties etc. in the neighbourhood.

Hotels in Jamaica are wonderful, full of amenities, but often expensive, in an area where costs are higher because they're targeted at tourists. Staying in a local property allows more space, lower costs, and offer the real island vibes of the Caribbean.
This is a secure, sought after local neighbourhood with many professionals, so it's a safe area offering immediate and easy access to several tourist attractions.
