Curricle The third of the houses of the stone chariot
One of 3 homes in an historically significant building- an old coach house steps from Main St. Picton. The uniqueness of these homes cannot be underestimated. This home was the stable! The location of the properties is a minute walk from Main St. You will be close to theater, music and restaurants. After a busy day visiting wineries, enjoying the scenery or swimming at Sandbanks, you can return to the comfort of your own small piece of the County. You can enjoy dinner chez vous or cross the street for a stone oven pizza and beer brewed on site. This property is a vacation rental which includes a pass to Sandbanks, linen, towels, and a gas BBQ. his property has the charm of yesterday but the comforts of home. This home is the most elegant of the 3 Stone Carriage House Properties. It has a small side porch for drinks in the late evening an a small side yard. All of these properties are unique in their own way. Friends or family who want a bit more space or privacy can rent another of the homes (or even 2). It would be a great place a bridal party to stay but just as nice for good friends to spend time together.

This is the most beautiful home I may have ever stayed in! Such interesting history. Close to so many beautiful boutique stores and so many dining options. And this house is huge! I am so happy we had the opportunity to stay here.
Great couple of days in this lovely home - the kitchen was attractive, spacious and fully equipped, the living room was cosy, the beds comfortable and there was a pleasant porch and private garden space. We enjoyed chatting with the hostess, and she was available for check-in even though we didn't get there till 7pm. I would highly recommend this home.
It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The property was exactly as described and pictured. Susan was great to work with! The location is perfect...close to downtown Picton, a grocery store, and the Millenium Trail for biking. We loved our stay and hope to be back in the future!
Meeting Susan at check in was an absolute pleasure, she was so informative about the cafes, shops and restaurants in Picton. The house was comfortable, spacious and clean and the parking space an additional bonus.
Susan's cheery welcome got us off to a great start at the Carriage House. The Third unit is described as elegant and it is: tastefully appointed with charming antiques and art. But it's also super comfortable and relaxed. We stayed only 2 nights but could easily have settled in for a longer stay. The photos really don't do this place justice! Thanks for a wonderful weekend. We'll be back.
