Like a futon but a real couch that lays completely flat with a thick mattress.

House was so great for our family of 5 (1 infant) plus 2 extra adults! Christine was kind and easy to communicate with. Location is perfect for a neighborhood feel but also easy drive to lots of Austin spots. We recommend and would stay again!
We had a nice time! Check-in was a bit confusing due to a miscommunication but we got it all sorted out; there is a physical lockbox to be used rather than a code for the door. Otherwise the home was as described. It’s definitely in the middle of some renovations and improvements, but serves perfectly fine for our needs. Having three full bathrooms is awesome, and there is a ton of sleeping space. Good experience!
Our stay at this charming VRBO in south Austin was fantastic! Despite a few communication hiccups, the owner’s grace and hospitality made for a smooth experience. The neighbor was a real MVP, offering helpful tips and a friendly hand.
For the adventurer, you’re about 20 minutes away from McKinney Falls State Park, among other great parks in the radius.
For the drinker, you’re right down the road from 2 local Austin favorites (Armadillo Den and Moontower Saloon)

Fraudulent pictures, dirty property, not child safe, a fire hazard and expired operating license
The pictures of the home do not match reality. The kitchen cabinets are not completely installed. It is not child safe as advertised. No gate on the stairs. The furniture is stained and dirty. The grass needs to be cut but…after the children toys are removed from the yard. All the bedrooms are upstairs. The issue is the property doesn’t state that all the bedrooms are upstairs. My handicapped in-laws can’t climb stairs so we had to rent a hotel room for them. The owner parked their car in the driveway closest to the house blocking easy entrance for anyone much less handicapped people. The counter tops in the kitchen are not completely installed and they are bathroom grade. The danger is the counter top can catch on fire and has a burn mark on it. The new bathroom does not meet code. There is not the required space between the toilet, the shower that has no upper water barrier and the sink. I know this is hard to believe but I will post the pictures for proof. Ultimately the scariest part of this property is the oven. It is not installed correctly. The oven does not have a heat barrier. The wood that the oven sits on started to smolder and smoke. The fumes that released impacted my father who is on oxygen, my mother in law who is a stage 4 cancer patient and my wife who has asthma. Interestingly the one smoke detector didn’t go off. More interesting after investigation the smoke detector in the kitchen does not work. Again not installed to code. I checked the rental manual and found the license of operation from the city of Austin that expired in 2020. My suggestion is that this property should be removed from any rental site. I plan to contact the city of Austin tomorrow morning to get there help in removing this property. Please avoid this at all cost. It’s not safe and it’s fraud

Unfortunately, this review is not true. Katherine’s group broke several house rules, was asked to stop and this review followed. This property is not suited to those who are handicapped due to the bedrooms being upstairs. I tried to reach out to Katherine upon booking but received no reply. If Katherine had replied to my messages prior to arriving she would have known this was not the correct house for a group with serious mobility issues.
This property is currently fully licensed with the city. The photos are new and match the house as it is in 2022. The electrical work was completed by a licensed electrician and checked by the city. The smoke detectors do work and are both battery operated and hardwired as per the new code. The new bathroom also passed inspection although it is not fully wheelchair accessible. As per the description listing, baby proofing and baby toys will be available upon request with advance notice. Therefore, the baby gate was intentionally not left out as guests without babies do not want and find it an inconvenience. The bedrooms are on the second floor, the listing never suggests otherwise. I live in the house and have used the oven many times and it does not smoke. The oven is only one year old.
Suffice to say the rest of the review is not true either.
A brief reply to my emails upon booking would have cleared up many of the issues related to the house not being wheelchair/handicapped accessible and would have allowed this group to book a house more suited to those who are in a wheelchair.

Not quite as advertised
We arrived late in the evening to this property and found it to be very dirty. The owner/manager was very quick to reply and very receptive to arranging a cleaning person early the next morning. While the house was aditquite this was F1 race week and the home was very over priced. I’m sorry but I could not recommend this home in the future.
This house was amazing for the weekend. All 8 of us slept very comfortably. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. It’s about 15 minutes from 6th and Rainey St. Molly was an amazing host and very responsive. 10/10
It was just what we needed for a family wedding in South Austin. We truly just needed to sleep at night after pre-wedding and wedding back events, but we could have done so much more at the house if we were on a vacation. Home accommodations and neighborhood were perfect!
Molly was super communicative and made sure we had all of the information we needed for our stay! The kitchen was fully stocked, the backyard and alcove were perfect for the kids in our group, and the living area was comfortable for the adults to hang out after the littles were in bed. I also appreciate how close the home is to the airport since I had an early flight home! Would definitely recommend this home for a group.
We rented this property to attend a family wedding in Austin. The property was literally in the state of disrepair. Dirty floors and even a used wash cloth in the bathroom. Kitchen counter tops were pieced together with mold growing on the edges. Outlets without covers and loosely installed. Kitchen floor bubbling up, inch wide gaps in the wood floors, and no base boards in several of the rooms. Absolutely ridiculous!
The house is located in a great location for Austin attractions and the surrounding areas. There were some cleaning concerns with the house when we arrived, but Molly cares about her property and guest experience and worked hard to make it right leading to a good experience for us.
We needed a place for our contractor team to stay while working in Austin. This place was perfect for them! Thanks Molly for making it such a pleasant experience!
Molly's home was wonderful for our vacation needs! It accommodated eight of us, had great food nearby, easy check in and check out and all basic essentials were covered!

Was really happy to be able to fit our group of 12. Had good amount of parking and was in a really cute neighborhood. It was a quick drive to anywhere and I would highly recommend for large groups, friends or families.
