We enjoyed staying in this lovely house .We had everything we needed. A lovely start for a walk along the river. Also the town is nice. The owner is friendly and helpful
We had a lovely long weekend stay at this cottage. Beautiful setting with ponies in the field outside which was really special. Brilliant facilities with everything we needed. Great host. So much to do in the local area for all ages despite the mixed weather.
Lovely rural setting. Rustic but with everything you need. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils although a few extra bowls would have been useful. Dishwasher and washing machine were very handy. We loved the walk to the stream and my granddaughter enjoyed saying hello to the ponies. We visited the nearest beaches which were beautiful but they are all pebbly so you need to go further afield for a sandy beach.

Wonderfully peaceful, idyllic Devon cottage
We had a wonderful stay in this stunning Devon cottage. You couldn't ask for more from the location! It was a real pleasure to meet the owners who were there to meet us on arrival and were so helpful getting us settled in. The cottage has everything you could need and is absolutely beautiful, we slept so well! We loved seeing the ducks, chickens and horses every day.
I really hope we will be back in the not too distant future.

It was a pleasure having you all to stay and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon!
Orchard Cottage is beautiful. We had a wonderful family holiday staying here. The property is a very pretty well maintained house set in a garden full of apple trees with horses just over the fence. The rooms are large, with a farmhouse kitchen, good size lounge, two good bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is stunning. Our hosts Michael & Fiona were welcoming & helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & would definitely return & highly recommend it.

Comfortable living in a romantic setting
We had two sunny weeks in this charming little house amidst a pleasant landscape. The house was perfectly divided for us and our three children, who had upstairs a big room for their own. Every morning the chicken and the ducks came to say hello, and we enjoyed the view over the grazing land with its ponies and horses.
Thank you, Fiona and Michael, for your hospitality! We will come back! Uli and Angelika

It was a real pleasure having you all to stay and wonderful to see you exploring and making the most of the surrounding countryside with all it has to offer. Please come back soon!
Best wishes, Michael & Fiona
Me, my partner and our 1 year old son really enjoyed our stay at Old Orchard Cottage which is set in a really peaceful location on Heathayne farm. This provided an excellent base for us for day trips to the beach, with the coast just a 10 min drive away. There is also a really nice walk to Colyton along the river right on the door step.
The cottage itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, including a high chair and stair gate for our son. There were only 3 of us, but there was ample space for at least 5 people to stay with an additional 2 beds that we didn't use.
Overall a very positive experience, and we would highly recommend this cottage.

Thank you Thomas and so glad you had such a good stay with your family and we enjoyed having you as guests, especially your understanding when our water pump failed leaving you without water on your final night. All fixed the next morning ready for your next visit! Best wishes.
What a gem! We loved staying here, the cottage is spacious and comfy and is really well equipped with everything you need. It’s a lovely peaceful setting with lots to do in the nearby towns and beaches. Our son loved saying hello to the horses every morning from the garden! We’d love to come back again one day.
Cosy, good size property in an idyllic spot. Dog walks along the river metres from the cottage. Only a few miles to several pebble beaches for scenic walks. The nearby town of Colyton has a fascinating history as well as places to eat. A lovely relaxing cottage to stay in.
This is a little gem of a place. Amazing cottage. Everything you could want on a holiday. The host Micheal was so nice and friendly and ready to help if we needed anything.
Great property. Photos dont do it justice. Stayed 2 nights, wish we could of stayed longer. Good communication with owner. Property very clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend
Just the break we needed in beautiful Devonshire countryside with river walks on the doorstep and the coast a short drive away. It was lovely to be on an active farm with cows in the meadows and horses for neighbours. The house is great, comfy master bed and spacious kitchen. Colyton is an incredibly friendly village, 2 welcoming local pubs and steak and Stilton pies at Antons butchers to die for! Thank you Michael for a really enjoyable summer break.

3 Night Stay
Had a fun 3 night break in the cottage. Perfect for the dogs with a short walk to the river and fields. Inside more spacious than originally thought. Plates, bowls and cutlery a bit of a mish-mash. Some of the plates and glasses in a bit of a tired state and in need of being replaced. Upstairs bedroom not very private as it can be viewed from the kitchen. Garden, although not used needed a tidy up as mainly overgrown.

Delightful cottage in wonderfully quiet location
Set in lovely countryside but still in reach of local amenities, coastal towns and shops. We loved the walk from Beer to Branscombe and also visiting Lyme Regis. The cottage sits next to the original C15th farmhouse but is sheltered within its own garden area with paddocks of ponies, chickens and ducks as neighbours.

Lovely "Little Orchard"
Again we had a wonderful time in this little cottage with enough space for our three children and us. The landscape is really great, our trips to Honiton or to the dartmoor were phantastic, and it was very nice to talk to our hosts, Fiona an Michael! The children loved the friendly animals, and even the weather was fine! We will come back! Uli & Angelika

Great cottage, good size and layout, tastefully furnished, idyllic spot.
Photos on website don't do justice to the cottage, which is very lovely. Great layout, nice big kitchen, cosy living room overlooking the ponies, comfy beds, beautifully green spot - river walk lovely in both directions just out of the gate, graat beaches at Beer and Branscombe nearby.

Charming and peaceful countryside Cottage!
The cottage is spacious and lovingly furnished. There is everything you need. But above all, there is plenty of rest. The owners are very nice and helpful. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace or having breakfast outside in the Garden while watching the horses and ducks. We would love to come back!

Landidyll!
