Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay at Woolbrook Reservoir — it really is a one of a kind space, and it’s wonderful to know the unique conversion made such an impression. It’s great to hear the house worked so well for your group of 14, and that the open plan design and central glass atrium helped everything feel bright, spacious and welcoming. We are so pleased you made the most of both the games room and the rooftop garden — the hot tub and those views are definitely something special. Being just a short walk from Sidmouth seafront is definitely a bonus, so we’re really pleased it made the weekend even better for you. It means a lot that you’d return “in a heartbeat”. We’d be delighted to welcome you back for another memorable stay.

Hi Sue, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay at Woolbrook Reservoir. We’re delighted to hear that the property was a wonderful fit for your getaway. We’re sorry to hear about the delay in heating the hot tub. That’s certainly not typical, as it usually takes around an hour to fill and approximately four hours to reach the ideal temperature. Had we known, we would have been more than happy to assist with some helpful tips to speed up the process. The online guide and the welcome folder in the property both have guidance on how to use the hot tub also. We're so pleased that the rest of your stay was exceptional, and we hope to welcome you back again soon. Best wishes, The Luxury Coastal team

Hi Danielle, Thank you for sharing your experience at Woolbrook Reservoir. We're delighted to hear that you and your friends enjoyed the stunning house and well-equipped kitchen. We sincerely apologise for the inconveniences you faced during your stay. I wanted to update you on the issues you encountered. The hob has now been replaced. An electrican has been looking into the tripping electrics so this will be sorted. We also have a second dishwasher available in the utility room for your convenience, we have since added a note on the main dishwasher to make this more clear. After investigating with the property manager, we discovered that they did not receive your text during your stay, and we apologise for any lack of communication. We hope these improvements will make your future visits even more enjoyable. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the property soon. Best wishes, The Luxury Coastal team

Hi Nicola, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t fully meet expectations, especially for such a special occasion. That said, we’re really pleased you enjoyed the interior of the property, particularly the unique layout, high-quality finishes, and the well-equipped kitchen. It’s wonderful to know that these aspects contributed positively to your stay. We apologise for the issues you encountered with the outdoor areas and amenities. Outdoor furniture is cleaned as soon as weather conditions allow, and we’re sorry this happened after your visit. To protect the cushions from the elements, they are stored away when not in use, and guests are kindly asked to return them after use, though we understand this can occasionally be overlooked which results in them staying damp in the store. Since your stay, we’ve taken steps to address all the concerns raised, including treating all outdoor cushions and implementing additional checks to ensure everything is in top condition for future guests. The lawns are now maintained daily by a robotic mower to ensure they remain pristine. Regarding the houseplants, we were surprised by your comments. The majority are cacti, which require minimal care, and there are only four live houseplants, all of which were thriving during our recent visit. The remaining plants are faux greenery, chosen to compliment the interior design. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve and ensure every guest has a memorable experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Luxury Coastal in the future. Best wishes, The Luxury Coastal team
