Welcome to the nice and fresh accommodation in the Strömstad area. The cottage is located individually in a quiet and sunny location in the middle of the Northern Bohuslän nature with the beautiful cabinsand cooling lakes. In the surrounding areas there are both berries and mushrooms as well as the opportunity to see all sorts of birds and animals. Visit Björnerödspiggen, which with its 222 meters above sea level is Bohuslän's highest point. Up on the top is a giant Bronze Age cairn (about 3000 years old) and the best view from Björnerödspiggen you get from the observation tower where you get miles of views. Up here there is also a windbreak with a fireplace. The nature here is characterized by the red bohus granite and the many quarries you pass on the way up to the top are memories from the great stonemason period around the turn of the century 1900. In the area there are also nice hiking trails sosabout bohusleden and Kuststigen these trails also pass Björnerödspiggen. In the area there are several lakes, of which Färingen is the most popular with several nice beaches, have a coffee at Färingestugan, hike over a suspension bridge out to Färingsön or rent a canoe and discover the lake. This cottage with the wide nature as a neighbor offers a secluded environment as well as peace and quiet and starry nights. Via the cottage's terrace area you reach the cottage's entrance and further into a hall. From the hall you enter an open floor plan with kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge / freezer and coffee maker, dining area with kitchen furniture and a living room area with sofa bed, TV screen for DVD. Two bedrooms be one with double bed and one with two bunk beds. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Outside the cottage there is summer furniture, perfect for a moment of conversation over a good bite to eat and something good in the glass, while the sun slowly sets in the northwest. The cottage has a playground for the young and a lawn made for play and games or maybe you should try camping and experience how the day turns into night and then wake up at dawn during the birds' morning concert, something for those who love nature experiences! The cabin has WiFi connection. In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, nice shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. From the cottage you walk, take the city or free buses to the city center and all the entertainment or to the bathing places that there are several to choose from. If you want to experience islands and the archipelago environment, there are several boat charters and bathing boat trips from the harbor in the center out to several archipelago islands such as The Island of Stockholm. Furholmen or the Koster Islands but also to neighboring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own explorations. For those interested in golf, there are several 18-hole courses in the area and right next to the villa there is access to the tennis court. Welcome to the charming Strömstad area.
