Budget holiday with the family which met the needs of us all (Mum, 2 preteens and two dogs) perfectly. Lots of lovely family time together, long walks, board games and movies exactly what I wanted. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Yes caravan was a little tired but for the price paid we were happy. It was warm and comfortable. We never needed to call on staff for anything but they seemed friendly and approachable so wouldn’t have hesitated if need be

Very remote location.
Very remote location. Quiet and peaceful. There is nothing, shops 30 miles away. No cafes or pubs either. So you need to bring your shopping with you. On site you can buy necessities and dvds, books and games and jigsaws are available for you to borrow. Caravan was great. You can walk in the forests. I loved it but it’s not for everyone.

Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days.

Nice stay
We had an enjoyable stay in a clean cosy place but the tiny touches were missing that we have become accustomed to using other holiday booking platforms (such as toilet roll and soap).
The booking process through vrbo however was not smooth and the photographs of the accommodation were very misleading, so it's unlikely I'll use vrbo again.
I spent over 2 hours finding out who to pay (not vrbo it turns out!), struggled to simply confirm the stay and find out how to access the info to get into the accomodation. A lot of stress to begin a trip planned to get away from stress!
