Located within the South Downs National Park, North End is a walkable mile from Findon with its village shops and four pubs and excellent restaurant, just 5 miles from the coast at Worthing, 11 miles from Arundel with its castle and cathedral, and 19 miles from Brighton. The country lane leading to the property emerges into peaceful countryside dotted with horses, cows and pheasants. You feel the peace and tranquillity as soon as you pull up to the gravel driveway of The Dog and Trout.
Upon entering the front door of this flint-clad barn conversion, you will find an open concept living area that contains a fully equipped kitchen as well as a living and dining area. Featuring granite worktops and country-style cabinets, the kitchen has all the amenities you could want. The dining area is perfect for a cosy evening meal, set in the middle of the room and made from original beams - it is a real feature in the room; a wood burner completes the room. This is perfect for a chilly day. The open plan living area is welcoming and luxurious, a comfortable space to relax in after a long country walk. The French doors lead out to a patio area where you can enjoy alfresco dining and drinking while enjoying the peace of the English country garden. Scattered with fruit trees and surrounded by lush trees, the secluded garden is the perfect spot for relaxing. The garden will delight the whole family and furry friends alike.
Back inside the house, as you walk up the stairs to the second floor you will be blown away by the style and quality of fixtures and fittings. You will be spoiled for choice when it comes to activities in the area. It is a great location for walking or cycling, lying between the South Downs Way and Monarchs Way within the South Downs. There are many sites of historic or natural interest to visit, including the historic town of Arundel, Chactonbury and Cissbury Rings and the Weald and Downland Museum. Beaches and water sports are nearby at Worthing, Shoresham-by-sea, Ferring and Littlehampton, and shops and restaurants can be found locally in the village of Findon or further afield in Brighton or Horsham.
