This charming holiday cottage was built in 2021 and sleeps 2 people. “De Quetzal” is fully equipped with underfloor heating and two radiators. It is a single-story home, so the bathroom, toilet, and bedroom are all directly accessible. The interior is warm and cosy, with great attention to detail. It’s situated in an ideal location on a leafy cul-de-sac, from which you can walk just 200 metres to the Schoorlse Duinen Nature Park and immediately climb the highest dunes in the Netherlands. The Schoorlse Duinen Visitor Centre, the starting point for many hikes and excursions, is less than 500 metres away. The charming and atmospheric town centre, with its many restaurants and “Het Klimduin,” is just 900 metres from the Quetzal.

Through a private entrance—which can be locked from both inside and outside—you’ll find a cosy, enclosed garden that offers plenty of privacy. The wooden garden path leads you to the covered bike shed and the terrace. The sun shines on the terrace from early in the morning. This is the ideal spot to start your day off right. The terrace is also equipped with awnings on the top and sides, allowing you to create the perfect setting to suit your needs.

You enter through the French doors. Here you’ll find a cosy nook with a large dining table and a spacious kitchen fully equipped with all modern conveniences. It includes, among other things, a dishwasher, oven, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and more. The high skylight, which extends partially into both the kitchen and the living room, creates a sense of spaciousness and provides beautiful natural light. The living room has both underfloor heating and a radiator. There is also a TV, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire accommodation. The bedroom features an extra-wide and extra-long bed. Above the bed are two windows with screens. Opposite the bed is a spacious built-in closet and an air conditioner. The luxurious bathroom features a toilet, a radiator, and a large rain shower with a skylight. The bathroom can be completely enclosed with sliding doors.
In the evening, you can enjoy the atmospheric lighting around the patio and in the garden.
