We couldn't be any more pleased with our recent stay here. It's really well kitted out in terms of furnishings and has lovely views and plenty of toys to keep young (and old) children busy. The highlight for us was definitely the swimming pool, which the kids absolutely loved. Would definitely recommend it!
Paul and Alison went above and beyond to accommodate us for a last minute break.
Accommodation was spacious, clean comfortable and very child friendly with lots of toys, games and thing to do in the house.
Private swimming was extra special.
Highly recommend Farmer Jack's Farm for a fun day out with the kids.
Overall a really enjoyable break.
Most excellent house . Everything was as it was advertised and better . Clean well appointed and lovely . Our host alison went above and beyond was always available for prompt help , kind and very flexible and accommodating when an extra guest arrived . I would most strongly recommend this home . Sarah
At booking the information said use of the heated pool was to be arranged with owner and is finalised on arrival. When arranging the key pick-up we were told we cannot use pool at any time throughout our ten day stay. The pool was the major reason for our choosing this property and the reason for the premium price charged. This false advertising rankles and has detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

Dear Michael and Vicki,
Thank you for your comments and many apologies again for your disappointment. We have received 5-star reviews from all of our 30+ guests from the various platforms we are on and so, naturally, we were very disappointed to read yours.
We sincerely believe this has come about due to a lack of communication that has led to confusion. We would like to reiterate that our profile requests that all guests enquire as to the availability of the pool before booking. This is one of the main reasons we do not use the “auto book” facility so that we can clearly understand the requirements of our guests and plan accordingly. The majority of our guests have not been interested in the pool; more interested in the spacious accommodation for visitors of four or more that we provide. Your brief was that you were hosting family members from abroad and that, for the majority of the time, they would be with you in the village. There was no interest expressed in the pool and, therefore, as your dates clashed with our own family holiday over Christmas week, we had not made contingency plans for someone else to ensure the pool could be ready for you (chemical testing, heating, cleaning, security etc). Simply, we were unaware that you were expecting to use the pool throughout your stay until it was too late.
We have taken the opportunity to review our property description and make it even clearer that prospective guests should enquire as to pool availability for their specific dates prior to booking. We are typically able to accommodate these requests with appropriate notice.
Once again, we are sorry that this has impacted the enjoyment of your stay with us.
Kind regards,
Paul and Alison
We are a family of five, Paul and Alison, our two teenage children and Bobby, our working cocker spaniel. We've lived in Cranleigh since 2014 and we absolutely love it. We particularly enjoy sports and everything that Surrey has to offer, especially the local dog walks, whilst not being too far from more action in Guildford and London. We enjoy renting out the Guest House and meeting lots of great people along the way. Alison has, literally, travelled the world so is, particularly, enjoying hosting travellers from near and far. We have, particularly, enjoyed helping families by providing short term accommodaton whilst they look to purchase property in the area or during their sale/purchase, which is rarely stress free! Please do get in touch should you wish to visit for short or long stays.
Why they chose this property
It's a unique space - spacious yet cosy - on one floor with easy access. Located in a tranquil setting, yet close to a variety of entertainment, cultural and convenience facilities. So far our guests have given us 5* reviews (listed on various platforms). On site, guests enjoy relaxing in the large open space, sometimes swimming and playing tennis, or just enjoying the large, private garden available to them. Further afield, guests have also enjoyed a number of activities and visits in and around Cranleigh and other parts of Surrey, as well as trips to London. We lived in the Guest House ourselves for nine months whilst the main house was renovated and have very fond memories. Our kids especially loved bungalow living... :0).
What makes this property unique
