A lovely, comfortable cottage. Sally was very welcoming and even posted back a forgotten charger. Lots of birds to be seen and heard, even an owl at night.

What an idyllic and rejuvenating cottage and landscape.
What an idyllic and rejuvenating cottage and landscape. The sheep were a joy to watch, and walk with-they would follow us their side of the fence 😄 I was amazed how soundproof the rooms were! My husband is an occasional snorer, and when things got bad I sent him packing to the room next door and heard not a peep. The bed(s) were comfortable, and we both were well rested.Sally was on holiday when we arrived, but her delightful daughter Tessa attended to us very kindly. She provided us with numerous walking path, dining and sightseeing recommendations, and made herself available to us for any questions.Sally leaves the cottage stocked with a few staples to start you off-bread, eggs, milk, and a delicious homemade lemon drizzle. There was also coffee/tea, oil, vinegar, and a few other dried goods. On the day we departed I received a call from Sally, knowing we were going to continue to be local a bit longer (had to move as the cottage was already booked!). She passed in additional recommendations of things to do and places to go during our stay.We will not hesitate to book the Woodland Cottage again in the future!
Perfect for 2 couples or a family. It's in a delightful rural setting. Peaceful and quiet. Sally was very helpful and made us feel must welcome. There a number of nice pubs nearby or a well equipped kitchen if you want to eat at home.
Great location for touring country side. We went to Amberely/Arundel Castles and Mary Rose museum and enjoyed them all. Cooked breakfast in unit and ate out for dinner.
Was able to accommodate us for early check-in which was very much appreciated. Would like to return some day.
